Reimer stopped 21 of 23 shots en route to a 3-2 victory over the Bruins on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
In notching his 12th win of the season, Reimer continued his hot streak. Even though he's only played in four games since Feb. 13, he's got a good record of 3-1-0 in those games. He's continuing to prove that he is a pretty reliable option whenever he steps in to give Martin Jones a break.

Reimer is slated to start Tuesday's game against the Bruins, Kevin Kurz of CSN Bay Area reports.
EDGE Analysis
Reimer, who stopped all 31 shots he faced en route to a 3-0 shutout win over the Oilers last Tuesday, will thus make his third start in a San Jose uniform, while facing a Boston squad that he earned a 4-3 overtime decision over while with the Maple Leafs back on Feb. 2.

Reimer stopped all 31 shots he faced en route to a 3-0 shutout victory over the Oilers on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Reimer was remarkably better in his second game with San Jose than he was in the first. This was the 27-year-old's first shutout of the year, and his first since the 2013-14 season with Toronto. If this is the kind of performance that we can come to expect from Reimer, he will certainly be worth a look whenever he's in net to backup starter Martin Jones.

Reimer will start in the blue paint Tuesday, taking shots from the Oilers, Kevin Kurz of CSN Bay Area reports.
EDGE Analysis
Reimer will look for a better result in his second game with San Jose, as he gave up three goals on 25 shots faced in a loss to Vancouver on Mar. 5 in his debut. The 27-year-old Winnipeg native will have a good chance to earn his first win against an Edmonton squad that averages just 2.40 goals per game, the fifth-worst rate in the league, though they have won four of their last five contests.

Reimer gave up three goals on 25 shots in his Sharks debut Saturday against Vancouver.
EDGE Analysis
Not an ideal debut for Reimer, who was beaten for all three goals on the power play. The 27-year-old isn't expected to see a ton of action with San Jose right in the thick of the playoff race, but he posted a .918 save percentage with Toronto this season before the trade, so the Sharks likely won't hesitate to call upon him if starting goaltender Martin Jones struggles.

Reimer will debut with the Sharks on Saturday against the Canucks, Curtis Pashelka of the San Jose Mercury News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Reimer joining the club resulted in the team's demotion of Aaron Dell to the AHL on Thursday, and he'll now slot in for the first time as the home goalie in San Jose. While he doesn't figure to take on a primary role with his new club, he should figure into the mix more consistently than the backup for most of the season prior (Alex Stalock). He should also reap the benefits of the move to a more talented team, and increased offensive support could result in more wins the rest of the way. He'll get a nice matchup for his first game in teal and black, squaring off against a Canucks club that has already lost twice to the Sharks this week.

Reimer was traded to the Sharks on Saturday along with forward Jeremy Morin. In return, the Leafs will receive goalie Alex Stalock, forward Ben Smith, plus a conditional fourth-round draft pick in 2018.
EDGE Analysis
Reimer moves from a team with virtually no chance of making the playoffs to a Sharks squad that's bound to end up in the narrowed hunt for Lord Stanley. Optimus Reims is set to become an unrestricted free agent this summer, so he might end up being a rental player. He provided the Leafs with five years of NHL service time, but Reimer, who owns a career save percentage of .914, should fit in well as a complement to Martin Jones since he'll be supported by the Sharks, who score 2.88 goals per game on average, currently the fourth-best rate in the league.

Reimer allowed three goals on 26 shots in Tuesday's home defeat to the Predators.
EDGE Analysis
Reimer was beaten three times by Filip Forsberg, who was absolutely on fire in the game. Toronto battled back for its goaltender with two third-period goals, but the effort wasn't enough. Reimer, like the rest of his team, has really struggled this season, and now has four losses in his last five starts.

Reimer will start in the blue paint Tuesday, taking shots from the Predators at home, Chris Johnston of Sportsnet reports.
EDGE Analysis
Reimer has the unenviable task of stopping pucks for a team that is ravaged by injuries, ranks dead last in the league, and already has made moves ahead of next week's trade deadline. However, Reimer himself will be an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season after a two-year, $4.6 million deal with the Leafs. His 2.47 GAA and .919 save percentage is respectable, given the overall struggles by the team.

Reimer stopped 13 of 15 shots in relief of starter Jonathan Bernier Saturday night. He took the loss in overtime.
EDGE Analysis
It was a tough luck loss for Reimer, who got his team back in the game with some timely saves in the second period. He's now 1-3-1 in his last five appearances. It'll only get worse for the beleaguered Toronto netminders after the trade deadline. Any scoring support they have now will likely be gone and the team will be thinner than your grandma's dish towels. That's bad news for whomever is in the net.
