Despite his recent string of poor play, Reimer will make his eighth straight start with Roberto Luongo still sidelined by a lower-body injury. Despite Reimer's mediocre numbers during that stretch, which include a 3.06 GAA and .918 save percentage, the coaching staff seems reluctant to turn to third-string goalie Reto Berra. Reimer will face off against a New York team that is averaging 2.57 goals per game in March.

Reimer made 32 stops against Columbus on Thursday, but a pair of goals late in the second period were his undoing in a 2-1 loss.

EDGE Analysis

That makes eight losses (seven in regulation) in Reimer's last nine outings, with the lone win in that span having come Tuesday against Toronto. On the bright side, Reimer's given up just two goals in consecutive starts -- that's a pleasant change of pace from the 3.40 GAA he gave up over his seven-game losing streak.

Reimer will be the starting goalie for Thursday's game in Columbus, Steve Goldstein of Fox Sports Florida reports.

Reimer will look to keep rolling after winning his first game in eight starts Tuesday. The Blue Jackets and their excellent offense could represent a challenge for Reimer but he did get the better of them earlier this season, stopping 30 shots en route to a win on Jan. 14.

Reimer made 28 saves in Tuesday's 7-2 win over the Maple Leafs.

Reimer got a surprising amount of support from the league's sixth-worst offense as he easily bested the team with which he debuted in the 2010-11 season. He had gone without a win in each of his previous seven starts, so Reimer remains a poor fantasy option despite his sizable role during Roberto Luongo's (lower body) absence.

Reimer will make his fifth consecutive start Tuesday when the Panthers play the Maple Leafs.

EDGE Analysis

Reimer has been awful since assuming the starter's role from Roberto Luongo, who is projected to be out for at least another week with a lower-body injury. In the last four starts, Reimer has allowed 14 goals and posted a .893 save percentage in four straight losses. The 28-year-old was not sharp against his former team earlier this season, allowing six goals in a loss to Toronto on Nov. 17.

Reimer allowed three goals on 34 shots in a 3-2 loss to the Lightning on Saturday.

EDGE Analysis

The Panthers continued their free fall Saturday night, losing for the eighth time in the last nine games. During that stretch, Reimer does have a .911 save percentage, but he doesn't have a single victory and owns a 3.40 GAA. Florida is now seven points back of the final wild card spot. It's best to look for netminder help elsewhere.

Reimer will defend the cage as Saturday's road starter versus the Lightning, George Richards of the Miami Herald reports.

EDGE Analysis

Reimer is looking to snap a three-game losing streak for which he yielded 11 goals total at home, having faced the Stars, Rangers and Wild, respectively. The Bolts are a decent scoring team at home -- averaging 2.97 goals per game -- but they'll be thin down the middle with Tyler Johnson, Vladislav Namestnikov, and Cedric Paquette all unavailable due to their respective lower-body injuries, and some guy named Steven Stamkos (knee) not quite ready to return himself.

Reimer saved 39 of 44 shots during Friday's loss to Minnesota.

EDGE Analysis

Reimer was actually eyeing a win and sported a 4-3 lead early in the third period before allowing two goals. The Wild then scored two empty-net tallies. He's now lost six consecutive starts and sports a disappointing .910 save percentage and 3.45 GAA during that span. Reimer is worth owning because he's going to receive the lion's share of starts while Roberto Luongo (lower body) is on the shelf. You'll just want to keep expectations in check, considering Reimer's recent form.

The Manitoba native didn't look sharp in his last appearance, allowing four goals on 19 shots against the Rangers. Before that though, he was on a bit of a hot streak with a .946 save percentage and 1.92. Unfortunately, he'll face off against a Minnesota team that is second in the league with 3.25 goals per game, so it could be another rough outing for Reimer.

Reimer was beaten four times on 19 shots before getting yanked from Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Rangers.

EDGE Analysis

Reto Berra stopped all eight in relief after Reimer was pulled with the Rangers up 4-1 in the second frame. Reimer had been spectacular in his last three outings (despite losing them all) and the Rangers are a tough road team, so he deserves the benefit of the doubt from fantasy owners. With Roberto Luongo (lower body) ailing, Reimer could be back in the net for Friday's matchup with Minnesota, but that's no certainty yet.
