Allen made 27 saves on 30 shots in a 3-2 Wednesday loss to Anaheim.
EDGE Analysis
Once again, Allen was subpar in net for the Notes. This time, however, St. Louis' attack couldn't bail him out and steal the win. Allen has to be better if he's going to be useful as a fantasy goaltender, as his .900 or worse save percentage in six of his past seven games just won't get it done. Tread carefully with him, as much of his value as of late has come in the Blues' ability to get him a win by burying opponents in goals.

Allen led his squad out for warmups and will start Wednesday against the Ducks, Eric Stephens of The Orange County Register reports
EDGE Analysis
Allen has won four consecutive games, even though his stats only show a .907 save percentage and 2.48 GAA in that span. However, in his five career home starts against the Ducks, Allen posted a 5-0-0 record, 1.40 GAA and .946 save percentage -- much better stat line for nearly identical win streaks. Furthermore, the Ducks have struggled without their top-two centers, Ryan Kesler (hip) and Ryan Getzlaf (face) and Anaheim ranks 27th in the league with 2.6 goals per game, setting Allen up for a great chance at extending his win streak.

Allen turned away 22 of 25 shots in Saturday's win over the Wild.
EDGE Analysis
That's the fourth straight victory for Allen, who is sporting a terrific 13-5-1 record on the season. The 27-year-old continues to find ways to earn wins, but he hasn't been at his best, allowing three goals in each of his three most recent starts. While the rate stats could use improvement, Allen's heavy workload and ability to win games makes him worth rolling out whenever the Western Conference powerhouse Blues are in action.

Allen will field shots from the Wild as Saturday night's home starter, David Solomon of 590 The Fan reports.
EDGE Analysis
While Allen is struggling to keep his cumulative rate stats (2.74 GAA, .909 save percentage) from being career-worst marks, he's still produced wins in 12 of 18 games and has been steady at even strength as evidenced by a .921 save percentage. Minnesota averages three goals per contest and boasts the league's eighth-best power play, so this won't be a cake walk for Allen on Saturday.

Allen saved 26 of 29 shots during Tuesday's 8-3 win over Edmonton.
EDGE Analysis
The 27-year-old netminder entered Tuesday's contest with an impressive 6-2 record, .920 save percentage and 2.45 GAA through his eight home starts this season. While his ratios didn't improve with his showing, the victory was never in doubt during the blowout win. Allen is locked into a hefty workload behind a strong two-way team, so he projects to remain a rock-solid fantasy option. Still, it isn't out of the question to fade him in daunting road matchups, if the luxury exists.

Allen will tend the twine for Tuesday night's home game against the Oilers, Tom Timmermann of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
Despite a relative rough patch that has seen him allow 14 goals over the last four contests, Allen has still managed to win two games in a row and will maintain the coaching staff's trust by earning his fifth consecutive start Wednesday. Edmonton has surprisingly been one of the least effective offensive teams in the league this season and have scored three goals or fewer in seven of their last eight contests, making starting Allen all the more appealing.

Allen stopped 20 of 23 shots in Saturday's overtime win over the Canucks.
EDGE Analysis
Allen has certainly had better nights, but he was good enough against Vancouver to earn his second consecutive victory. The 27-year-old has turned in some lackluster efforts of late and his .910 save percentage is reflective of his inconsistency thus far. Allen is locked into a starting role and owns a solid 11-5-1 record, but he's yet to exhibit quality play on a nightly basis, which impedes his fantasy value. Allen is still worth rolling out whenever the Blues are in action, but more consistency would go a long way.

Allen appears set to start Saturday's clash against Vancouver, Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
After two really rough outings in which Allen allowed 10 goals on 54 shots, Allen bounced back in a 4-1 win over Edmonton on Thursday. On Saturday the veteran netminder will take on a Canucks team with the 27th-ranked offense in the NHL and have only scored six goals over their past four games.

Allen stopped 29 of 30 shots in Thursday's 4-1 triumph over the Oilers
EDGE Analysis
Allen was beaten by Ryan Strome on the power play just 29 seconds after Vladimir Sobotka gave St. Louis a 1-0 first-period lead with a shorthanded goal, but he stood tall the rest of the way and got plenty of offensive support. This was a great bounce-back performance for Allen after he allowed 10 goals on 54 shots in his previous two appearances.

Allen will guard the goal in Thursday's road game against the Oilers.
EDGE Analysis
Allen has been dreadful in his last two outings, posting an atrocious 7.20 GAA and .815 save percentage in consecutive defeats to the Islanders and Flames. The 27-year-old netminder will look to bounce back Thursday in a road matchup with an Oilers club that just potted eight goals in a resounding victory over Vegas on Tuesday.
