Allen made 28 saves Saturday in a 6-1 victory over the Red Wings.
EDGE Analysis
It's Allen's third-straight win and 16th on the season. His personal stats are steadily improving and his .912 save percentage is now just a hair off his .915 career average. Allen is a strong option between the pipes and could see action Sunday, what with his back-up Carter Hutton on IR.

Allen will start in goal Saturday afternoon, fielding pucks from host Detroit, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
There's speculation that Allen could appear in back-to-back games Saturday and Sunday with his understudy Carter Hutton hampered by a lower-body injury and on injured reserve. Allen's upcoming start will take place against a Red Wings team that only ranks 24th in scoring, despite owning the seventh-ranked power play.

Allen saved all 29 shots he faced during Thursday's 3-0 win over Dallas.
EDGE Analysis
The shutout improves the Fredericton, NB native to a 15-6-2 record, .910 save percentage and 2.63 GAA through 24 appearances. Fantasy owners would love to see better ratios, but it's difficult to be too critical of Allen's play. Goals were up across the league early on this season, and there is still plenty of time for him to improve those marks. Thursday's strong outing against a daunting opponent also affirms Allen's status as a matchup-proof option in the majority of settings.

Allen will be manning the crease for Thursday's contest against the Stars, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
With a 14-6-2 record, Allen will look to snag his 15th win against the streaking Dallas Stars. The 27-year-old netminder owns a 2.75 GAA and a .906 save percentage this season, both much worse than his career averages. He still has a strong hold on the starting spot, but he hasn't been as good of a fantasy asset as expected.

Allen saved 22 of 25 shots during Tuesday's 4-3 win over Montreal.
EDGE Analysis
There have been some ups and downs for Allen this season, as his .906 save percentage and 2.75 GAA are hardly numbers to write home about. However, his 14-6-2 record is impressive, and St. Louis appears set to remain one of the best teams in the league. While Allen checks out as a solid option in all fantasy settings, it's still not out of the question to be a little selective with his matchups and avoid tough opponents.

Allen will be between the posts for Tuesday's road contest against the Canadiens, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's been a very rough go of things for Allen lately -- the 27-year-old shows a .883 save percentage and 3.36 save percentage in his last nine appearances, allowing at least three goals in six of them. He'll look to turn things around Tuesday against a Montreal squad that has looked better since the start of the season, but still managed only 2.47 goals per game in November.

Allen made 23 saves Saturday in a 2-1 overtime loss to Minnesota.
EDGE Analysis
Allen was strong between the pipes on Saturday, but he got little support. His mates pelted opponent Devan Dubnyk with 42 shots, but they only beat the Wild man once. Allen's mediocre counting stats remain a concern, but we think those will start to improve soon enough. Stay confident.

Allen will start in goal Saturday night versus the Wild in Minnesota, Tom Timmermann of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Blues entrusted backup Carter Hutton with Friday's start against the Kings, but he only last two frames before getting pulled in favor of Allen, who ended up making six saves in relief. Allen is 13-6-1 on the season, but his rate stats (2.77 GAA and .907 save percentage) aren't for the faint of heart. Minnesota is ranked 13th in the league offensively this season, but Allen beat them on the road exactly one week ago after kicking away 22 of 25 shots.

Allen saved six of seven shots in the third period of Friday's 4-1 loss to Los Angeles.
EDGE Analysis
After Carter Hutton allowed three goals through the first 40 minutes of the game, Allen entered in relief. St. Louis travels to Minnesota for a 6 p.m. ET game Saturday to complete a back-to-back set, and Allen will likely draw the start. It could prove to be a difficult schedule spot for the Blues and their No. 1 netminder, so it's not out of the question to consider alternative options if the luxury exists.

Allen made 27 saves on 30 shots in a 3-2 Wednesday loss to Anaheim.
EDGE Analysis
Once again, Allen was subpar in net for the Notes. This time, however, St. Louis' attack couldn't bail him out and steal the win. Allen has to be better if he's going to be useful as a fantasy goaltender, as his .900 or worse save percentage in six of his past seven games just won't get it done. Tread carefully with him, as much of his value as of late has come in the Blues' ability to get him a win by burying opponents in goals.
