Markstrom has won five of his last six games, including four straight. While he may not be taking over starting duties anytime soon, he continues to perform well in his backup role. Whenever he's starting, Markstrom is definitely worth a look.

Despite the fact that he has far better numbers than Miller, Markstrom seems to be stuck in a 50-50 timeshare at best.

Markstrom has gone against the grain this season, putting up his best numbers away from Vancouver. The 25-year-old Swede has posted a 2.61 GAA at home but that number shrinks to 2.11 on the road. Proceed with caution if you believe that past performance is indicative of future results -- So far, Markstrom's worst start this season came against the Bruins on Dec. 5 when he let in four even-strength goals on 22 shots.
