Jacob Josefson leads the Albany Devils in scoring after the team's first eight games of the season. He has compiled four goals and two assists for six points to go with a plus-5 rating and 18 shots over that span. The AHL Devils have gotten off to a terrible start with a 2-5-0-1 record for a league-low five points in the standings. Josefson was limited to 41 games with New Jersey last season because of injury, but he's probably slated for third-line duty with the team if/when the NHL resumes play.

After a long absence from the New Jersey Devils' lineup, center Jacob Josefson informed reporters that he's been told that he'll play in Game 4 on Monday. Josefson hasn't played since April 3, so if his left wrist is close to 100 percent, his fresher legs could make a difference. The Devils shuffled their lines a bit so keep an eye on Josefson to see if he gives New Jersey a short-term boost.
