Jacob Josefson is probable to get back into New Jersey's lineup Saturday night. He skated with Adam Henrique and Michael Ryder during Saturday's game-day session. Josefson has been a healthy scratch for the last four games. He doesn't have a point in six appearances this year.

The New Jersey Devils announced that Jacob Josefson will probably replace Stephen Gionta (sore foot) in the lineup on Sunday. Josefson doesn't carry fantasy relevance - he's gone pointless in four games this season - so this is a JFYI.

Jacob Josefson was a healthy scratch on Tuesday. He was joined in the press box by Mattias Tedenby and Peter Harrold. Josefson has been a healthy scratch the last four games and has only played twice this season. The 22-year-old was drafted in the first round, 20th overall in the 2009 Draft but has not shown much of anything at the NHL level fantasy-wisse.

Jacob Josefson is projected to be a healthy scratch on Tuesday. Josefson played on Saturday, but the Devils needed to make room for Damien Brunner, who is ready to return from an upper-body injury. Josefson isn't expected to have any fantasy value in standard leagues in 2013-14.

Jacob Josefson and Mark Fayne were healthy scratches for the Devils on Sunday. Just an FYI as both players should not be on your fantasy roster unless they are a friend or a family member of yours.

Jacob Josefson made his season debut Friday night. With Ryan Carter out, Josefson drew into the lineup after being scratched for the first four games. The 22-year-old played just 7:48 in the loss.

Jacob Josefson expects to play his first regular season game of 2013-14 soon after appearing in all of the New Jersey Devils preseason contests. "He'll be getting a chance, I'm sure. Right now we're just sorting everything out," Devils GM Lou Lamoriello said. "He's a very talented player. He can skate. Right now the depth down the middle has got him as the odd man out. Both he and (Rostislav) Olesz are in that spot."

Jacob Josefson is hoping that his bad luck when it comes to injuries is behind him. "Those are pretty weird injuries I've had," Josefson said. "All of them were broken bones, so you can't really work in the summer to try to avoid it. I hope the bad luck is over now." If Josefson does stay healthy, the Devils will probably end up using him in a variety of different roles this season. He served as a left winger on the Devils' top line Saturday, but practiced as a center on Sunday. He's worth keeping an eye on, but not drafting yet in standard leagues because he's not a safe bet to consistently get top-six minutes.

Jacob Josefson moved to the wing on the first line Saturday. He played on a line with Damien Brunner and Patrik Elias and chipped in with a goal and an assist. If Josefson plays first line minutes in New Jersey he will be worth a very late pick in pools. He had only a goal and three points in 22 games last season but the 20th overall selection in the 2009 Draft is regarded as an excellent two-way forward. He is only 22 so he still has plenty of time to show that he could score at the NHL level.

New Jersey Devils re-sign Jacob Josefon to one-year, $725,000 contract. Josefson's deal was expected to be finalized at some point this week. The restricted free agent has struggled to gain a foothold with the Devils, thanks in large part to numerous injuries. Josefson split last season between the NHL, AHL and injury list. He had a goal and three points in 22 games with the Devils last season.
