Andersen will start between the pipes in Saturday's home game against the Penguins, NHL.com's Dave McCarthy reports.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen was a bit shaky in his last outing, surrendering four goals on 26 shots en route to a 4-1 loss to Tampa Bay on Thursday. The Danish netminder will look to bounce back and help his team clinch a playoff spot by picking up his 34th win of the season in a matchup with a hot Penguins club that has won four consecutive games.

Andersen delivered 26 saves Thursday in a 4-1 loss to Tampa Bay.
EDGE Analysis
He made some beauty saves, but his mates just held their sticks a bit too tight, what with the chance of a playoff berth on the line. Andersen will continue to patrol the blue paint until they clinch.

Andersen will tend the twine for Thursday's divisional clash with Tampa Bay, Kristen Shilton of TSN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Much has been made of Mike Babcock and the Toronto rookies' contributions to the Leafs' resurgence in 2016-17, but Andersen hasn't received nearly enough credit. Where Toronto had struggled with goaltending in the past few seasons, Andersen has provided a stabilizing presence in net in his first campaign with the Maple Leafs, going 33-15-14 with a 2.65 GAA and .919 save percentage. These aren't elite numbers, but they demonstrate that Andersen's play is giving his team a chance to win on a consistent basis. With a win Thursday, the Leafs will clinch a playoff spot while simultaneously eliminating the Bolts, so expect an intense, tight-checking matchup.

Andersen made 20 saves in Monday's 4-2 win over the Sabres.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen has rung up three straight wins and 33 on the season -- that's two from his career best. He has been the backbone of the Buds' success and will carry them as far as they will go in the postseason.

Andersen will start between the pipes Monday against the Sabres, Mark Masters of TSN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen has won four of his last five starts in the crease, but he allowed four tallies to Detroit in his last outing and two goals on 16 shots against the Sabres a few games back. Sunday's matchup against the Sabres should be a good test, but one that is certainly winnable for Andersen and the Leafs. Buffalo scored 2.57 goals per game in March, ranking 19th in the league in scoring last month.

Andersen surrendered four goals on 42 shots Saturday in a 5-4 win over the Red Wings.
EDGE Analysis
His 32 wins are just three shy of his career mark set in 2014-15. Andersen has been the backbone of the Leafs success this season and has his team on the verge of their first playoff season in several years.

Andersen will start in goal Saturday against host Detroit, Mark Masters of TSN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Toronto remains in playoff contention, so it's no surprise to see coach Mike Babcock sending his top goalie between the pipes. Actually, this will be Freddie's fourth start against the Red Wings this campaign, having most recently defeated them at home with a 22-save outing a little over three weeks ago. The Red Wings just lost brutish rookie Anthony Mantha for the rest of the season due to a finger injury, so that's one less weapon for Andersen to be concerned with Saturday. Backed by a high-powered offense, the Great Dane makes for an attractive play in most fantasy settings the rest of the way.

Andersen made 29 saves in Thursday's 3-1 win over Nashville.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen's shutout bid was foiled by Filip Forsberg 9:37 into the third, but he still picked up a much-needed win for a Toronto team that now sits four points clear of ninth place in the East. The offseason free agent signing has lived up to his $5 million salary when it matters most by surrendering two or fewer goals in all but one of his past 12 appearances.

Andersen (upper body) will be between the pipes against the Predators on Thursday, David Alter of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen returns to action after a brief one-game absence due to an upper-body ailment. The 27-year-old has allowed more than two goals to find the back of the net just once in his last 11 starts, which has allowed the Leafs to slide up into third place in the Atlantic Division. The Predators will certainly challenge the netminder as they field the eighth best offense in the league -- 2.95 goals per game -- but Andersen will look to repeat his previous matchup with Nashville in which he stopped 32 of 34 shots on goal in a win.

Andersen (upper body) is expected to start Thursday night for a road contest against the Predators, TSN reports. "We'll see on the plane, but I'm looking pretty positive and I feel ready to go," he said.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen's ailment cost him a game -- he sat out Tuesday's home contest versus Florida -- but that may end up being his only contest missed due to the issue. The Buds have a real shot at the playoffs with a bunch of stud rookie forwards -- Mitch Marner, William Nylander, Auston Matthews, etc. -- supporting Andersen and his 2.66 GAA and .918 save percentage on the season.
