Andersen won't alter his preparation for Wednesday's Game 4 meeting with Washington.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen has faced an astonishing 120 shots through the first three games, stopping 111 for a .925 save percentage. It certainly won't get any easier for the netminder as he squares off against a Caps squad desperate to avoid a first-round exit. With all the pressure on his opponents, the 27-year-old is free to focus on making the important saves that have kept his team in contention in each of these contests.

Andersen saved 23 of 26 shots during Monday's Game 3 win over Washington.
EDGE Analysis
After facing 94 shots through the first two games of the series, Andersen had an easier workload Monday. Additionally, while his .885 save percentage in Game 3 isn't an impressive mark, he turned away 23 of 24 shots after allowing two goals in the first five minutes of the contest. With a .925 save percentage and 2.47 GAA to start the series, Andersen is holding Toronto in against the top-seeded Caps. The Maple Leafs will look to grab a two-game lead with a home-ice win Wednesday.

Andersen will be between the pipes Monday against the Capitals in Game 3, Tom Gulitti of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen was an absolute monster in Game 2, thwarting a whopping 47 shots in a double-overtime triumph on the road at Verizon Center. The Dane was busy in Game 1, as well, when he allowed three goals on 47 shots, so it'll be interesting to see if the Leafs' D can tighten things up with the last change and better matchups as the series shifts to Toronto.

Andersen made 47 saves in the Maple Leafs' 4-3 2OT win over Washington on Saturday night.
EDGE Analysis
Man, he'll need major hydration after the win -- the game went 91:53 into Saturday night. Andersen was a beast.

Andersen will start in goal Saturday for Game 2 against host Washington, NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Dane stood tall in the playoff opener Thursday, staving off 41 of 44 shots on the road through overtime, but counterpart and reigning Vezina Trophy winner Braden Holtby was the one to hang on through the final stanza. Washington limited Calder Trophy candidate Auston Matthews to one shot in that first game, and Andersen likely needs a whole lot more support from the youthful skaters to counter the dangerous attack brought on by the high-flying Capitals.

Andersen topped 41 of 44 shots in Thursday's playoff-opening overtime loss to Washington.
EDGE Analysis
The Leafs actually staked Andersen to a 2-0 lead, but a determined Washington attack led by postseason legend Justin Williams chipped away and ultimately won it in the extra frame. Andersen has a decent track record in the playoffs, as he sports a 17-10 career postseason record, but he's in tough against the explosive Capitals offense. If the Danish goalie and his mates can't salvage a win in Game 2, this could end up being a short series.

Andersen (head) will be in goal against the Capitals for Game 1 on Thursday, David Alter of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen was adamant that he would be ready to go for the playoffs, so it should come as no surprise that the netminder will be in the crease. During the regular season, the netminder went 1-0-1 with a .875 save percentage versus Washington. Given the Caps potent offense, the 27-year-old will likely be tested early and will need to stand on his head in order to secure a victory.

Andersen (head) said he feels fine and is confident that he'll start Game 1 against Washington on Thursday, Terry Koshan of the Toronto Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Further bolstering Andersen's case to return is that fact that he returned to practice Tuesday, per CBC Sports. While coach Mike Babcock seems to be keeping the cards close to his chest in terms of plans for his goaltender and the rest of his roster moves prior to the Leafs' first playoff game, all signs seem to indicate that Andersen will start against the Capitals barring some sort of unforeseen twist.

Andersen fortunately is not showing concussion symptoms after leaving Saturday's game versus the Penguins upon getting hit in the head by Tom Sestito, Chris johnston of Sportsnet reports. However, Johnston adds that the goalie will not suit up for Sunday's regular-season finale against the Blue Jackets.
EDGE Analysis
No surprise here, as the Buds need their starting goalie healthy for the team's first playoff run in four years. Toronto has recalled goalie Garret Sparks from the minors with Andersen unavailable.

Andersen left Saturday's game against the Penguins in the second period due to a head injury.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen was hit by Tom Sestito while attempting to play the puck. Backup Curtis McElhinney started the third period, while there was no official update from the team on Andersen's status, Chris Johnston of Sportsnet reports. It's likely Andersen is going through the NHL's concussion protocol.
