As expected, Andersen will start in net Friday night against the Blue Jackets, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen has effectively separated himself from Anton Khudobin after the two netminders entered the 2015-16 campaign in a timeshare. It will be Freddie's seventh consecutive start and 11th appearance of the season when he takes to the crease Friday. Certainly, he has earned that heavy playing time based on a 2.03 GAA and .934 save percentage. However, it's not all pretty in Andersen's world as his team has managed to score only 17 times in 12 games. Star center Ryan Getzlaf (appendicitis) will return to the lineup Friday so perhaps that will energize the Ducks and breathe life into the offense.

Andersen is expected to start Friday against Columbus, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
If Andersen is to start, it will be his seventh consecutive and his 11th appearance of the season. Andersen is the reason that the Ducks' don't have even fewer than eight points in 12 games this season, but the team looks to be moving in the right direction and top center Ryan Getzlaf is returning Friday. This should take pressure off Andersen and allow him to perform even better.

Andersen made 23 saves on 25 shots and benefited from some late magic by Corey Perry to come away with a shootout win against Florida on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Perry bailed out Andersen and the Ducks with six seconds left in regulation, tying the game and allowing the Danish goalie a fresh opportunity to win it. The result was his second consecutive victory after an 0-5-2 start to the year. Despite the still-ugly record, Andersen's rate stats have been simply superb, so there's no need to worry about him -- the Anaheim offense will come around.

Andersen will be in the blue paint Wednesday against Florida, Curtis Zupke of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Despite all of the Anaheim's struggles this year, Andersen has been one of the best goalies in the NHL. The Ducks, coming off of their second win of the season, are taking on a Florida team who have scored two goals total in the two games they have played since both Jaromir Jagr and Aleksander Barkov were injured. Though Jagr expects to return tonight, this shouldn't be enough to disrupt Andersen's early-season success.

Andersen stopped 40 of 42 shots in Sunday's win over Nashville.
EDGE Analysis
It was the first victory of the season for Andersen, who had been struggling to get goal support out of the gate this season. Andersen has been excellent individually, however, posting a .935 save percentage through nine appearances. After the Ducks exploded for four goals Sunday, look for more victories to pile in for Andersen. He's finally being rewarded by his team for his sensational play this year.

Andersen is starting in net Sunday against the Predators, Eric Stephens of the OC Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
As expected, Andersen will be in goal after making 32 saves on 34 shots Thursday against St. Louis. Andersen holds a 2.05 GAA but is 0-5-2 on the season.

Andersen made 32 saves on 34 shots Thursday in St. Louis, but was stuck with yet another loss.
EDGE Analysis
After opening his NHL career by going a whopping 55-17-5, Andersen has seen whopping regression to open this campaign despite a generally spectacular level of play. That .932 save mark and 2.05 GAA are the numbers of a top goalie, not a guy who's winless in seven starts. The Anaheim offense continues to struggle mightily, and the big Danish netminder's fantasy fortunes are riding on the team's stars turning things around.

Andersen will start Thursday night against the Blues, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen will continue his search for his first win of the season in this game against a solid Blues team currently tied for third place in the Central Division. The lack of wins really have not been Andersen's fault, as he has posted an excellent .931 save percentage to go with his 2.05 GAA. The culprit has been the Ducks offense, which has been the worst in the league with just nine goals scored through nine games. If Anaheim is able to give Andersen at least a little bit of support on the other end of the ice, it's likely he'll be able to start turning some of his great performances into wins as well.

Andersen blew a 3-0 first-period lead, allowing four goals on 34 shots Tuesday in a 4-3 loss to the Stars.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen remains winless through seven games this season, as Anaheim's struggles continue to mount. The worst part about Tuesday's loss was that the Ducks actually supported Andersen with three goals, but that lead disappeared in the second period. Despite his record, Andersen's stat line remains solid with a 2.05 GAA and .931 save percentage. Chances are Anaheim will mix things up and eventually get back on track, so there's no need to panic and drop Andersen, as the wins will slowly start to come.

Andersen will be between the pipes in Tuesday's game against the Stars, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen has played extremely well this season, boasting a 1.71 GAA and .940 save percentage through six appearances. Because of his team's offensive woes, however, he has yet to record a win, and currently owns an 0-3-2 record. Anaheim is simply too talented to continue to be so atrocious offensively, so Andersen's win-loss record is bound to improve sooner rather than later. He draws into an unfavorable matchup Tuesday against the Stars, however, as Dallas has averaged 3.38 goals scored per game thus far this season.
