Andersen stopped 35 of 40 shots in the Ducks' Game 4 double-overtime loss to the Blackhawks. Andersen was lucky the Ducks stayed alive in this game as long as they did, since he provided one of his weaker performances of the postseason. He was trailing 3-1 in the third period before his mates picked him up with three unanswered goals in the span of 37 seconds to give the team a 4-3 lead. However, Andersen couldn't close the door on the road, as Patrick Kane notched the equalizer later in the period before Antoine Vermette tallied the game-winner 5:37 into the second overtime. Andersen's .875 save percentage on the night was his lowest mark of the postseason and his worse since April 8 against the Stars.

Andersen made 53 saves on 56 shots in Game 2 on Tuesday against Chicago, but that 56th shot was Marcus Kruger's game-winner in the waning minutes of the third overtime. Well, the guy can't win every single game, right? This is just Andersen's second loss in 11 playoff games this year, and although it has to sting, no one can deny that Andersen and the Ducks fought mighty hard, with his teammates putting 60 shots on Corey Crawford to complement Andersen's typically star-quality turn in goal. Nonetheless, they'll head to Chicago now with the series tied 1-1.

Andersen will be between the pipes for Game 1 of Sunday's Western Conference Finals match with the Blackhawks. Andersen was 0-2-0 with a 2.60 GAA and .907 save percentage in two starts against the Blackhawks during the regular season. He'll have the home-ice advantage in the first two games of the series and has played well in the postseason, but the Blackhawks represent a significant step up in the competition from the Jets and Flames.

Andersen stopped 17 of 19 shots in Sunday's series-clinching Game 5 overtime win over the Flames. While it wasn't the best night statistically for Andersen, he played well enough to help propel the Ducks on to the Western Conference Final, where they will face the Blackhawks. The 25-year-old has been very steady this postseason, posting a 8-1-1 record with a .925 save percentage and 1.96 GAA. He'll face a true test in Round 3 when Jonathan Toews, Patrick Kane, Patrick Sharp and Marian Hossa pay a visit. Andersen is locked into the starting role and has been playing well enough to give the Ducks a realistic shot at defeating Chicago.

Andersen stopped 25 of 27 shots in Friday's Game 4 win over the Flames. A great rebound performance from Andersen, who was burned for four goals in Tuesday's Game 3 loss.
