Andersen turned away all 24 shots he faced in Sunday's win over the Capitals.
EDGE Analysis
The win delivered the Pacific Division title to the Ducks, as Andersen was in top form after missing four games with a concussion. He got through the tilt without incident, so the 26-year-old should be good to go at full strength for the playoffs. He's 8-1-1 in his last 10 games, but coach Bruce Boudreau has yet to indicate whether he'll name a playoff starter or continue to rotate Andersen and John Gibson.

Andersen will make his return to the net for Sunday's regular-season finale agaisnt the Capitals.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen will receive his first start since suffering a concussion over a week ago, with the Ducks entering Sunday looking to win the Pacific Division. Fortunately for him, the Capitals will rest a lot of their top guns while the Ducks will go with a relatively normal lineup. Although he's just coming back from injury, he could be the best bet among the starting netminders in a limited slate Sunday given the situation he returns to.

Andersen (concussion) will resume duties on the bench as the backup netminder Saturday against Colorado, Helene Elliott of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen returns after a four game absence, which means coach Bruce Boudreau will have to decide whether or not to name a playoff starter or continue rotating his goaltenders. The 26-year-old has been fantastic of late, as he's posted a 7-1-1 record with a .918 save percentage. If he does get some starts in the postseason, the Dane is worth a look for your fantasy lineups given his ability to collect wins.

Andersen (concussion) skated again Tuesday, and Ducks coach Bruce Boudreau is hoping the netminder will return to game action this weekend, Elliott Teaford of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Ducks are aiming for Andersen to return either Saturday against the Avalanche or Sunday versus the Capitals, both of which are road games. While he's posted a 1.90 GAA in Anaheim, Andersen has been susceptible to struggles away from the home crowd, as he's surrendered 56 goals in 23 appearances which equates to a 2.73 GAA. At this point, it's all about getting the Dane healthy and prepared for the postseason.

Andersen (concussion) joined his teammates for a portion of practice Monday, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen did not remain on the ice for the entire time, but even a partial practice is a step in the right direction. Due to his rotation with fellow netminder John Gibson, the 26-year-old has yet to miss an expected amount of time due to the injury. However, this does open the door for Gibson to grab firm control of the starter's net heading into the playoffs. Prior to being hurt, Andersen was a little shaky as he had allowed 14 pucks to find the back of the net in his previous five contests. The goalie will need to clear the league's concussion protocol in order to get back into the crease.

Andersen (concussion) was seen skating before Saturday's practice, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
This appears to be the first major step in Andersen's recovery from the concussion ailment. There's a lot of variability in terms of how quickly a given player can return from a head injury, but he'll have to pass a battery of tests before rejoining the lineup. Given that the Ducks have already clinched a playoff spot, the team has the luxury of being extra cautious with the big Dane.

Andersen will not play Friday night against the visiting Canucks since he's dealing with a concussion.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen sustained the concussion while facing the Flames on Wednesday, limiting his time between the pipes to 11:32. The Ducks have yet to offer a timetable for how long the Dane might be held out of action beyond Friday night, but Anton Khudobin has been recalled from the minors to serve as the backup to John Gibson for the time being.

Andersen saved 29 of 32 shots in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over Ottawa.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen was trending towards his 10th loss of the season, but Anaheim caught fire in the third, scoring three goals to force overtime (and eventually stealing it). The 26-year-old has picked up five wins this month, showcasing an excellent .954 save percentage in those victories -- solid numbers for the backup netminder.

Andersen will be in goal Saturday night, a road start against the Senators, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fantasy owners of Andersen undoubtedly were ticked off after watching the Dane cough up six goals on 26 shots to the lowly Maple Leafs on Thursday. Still, that horrendous showing can be chalked up as an outlier to an otherwise stellar season for Freddie, who owns a 2.27 GAA with 20 victories. His counterpart reportedly will be Craig Anderson, who is the 30th-ranked goalie with a .915 save percentage.

Andersen was ripped for a season-high six goals on 26 shots in Thursday's overtime loss to the Leafs.
EDGE Analysis
Well, that's a sharp change of pace for the big Dane, who entered with 15 wins and a 1.80 GAA over his last 18 games (16 starts). He let the Leafs stake out a 4-1 lead, but calmed things down for a bit while Anaheim scored four straight to take the lead, only to give up a late power-play goal to tie the game, then the winner 41 seconds into overtime. John Gibson's coming off a bad start of his own, but it seems likely he'll draw the next start Saturday against Ottawa, with Andersen returning to a backup role.
