Andersen will safeguard the cage against the Predators in Wednesday's Game 7 matchup, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen came out strong after replacing John Gibson as he posted a phenomenal 1.26 GAA including a shutout in Game 3. If the 26-year-old can continue allowing two tallies or less, he gives his offense a great chance to secure the win. The further along we get in the playoffs, the more difficult it will be to pick a netminder for your lineups and Wednesday's slate is no exception. Owners should consider deciding on a goaltender based on the likely winner rather than relying on season stats.

Andersen stopped 23 of 25 shots in Monday's Game 6 loss to the Predators.
EDGE Analysis
It's the first loss of the playoffs for Andersen, as he took over following Game 2, but this was hardly on him with the offense unable to get much going at the other end of the ice. He's allowed just five goals in four starts, so the 26-year-old seems likely to get the nod once again for Wednesday's Game 7 in Anaheim.

Andersen will start in net Monday for Game 6 against the Predators.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen has collected three consecutive wins since taking over the job from John Gibson after Game 2. Regardless of Game 6's result, Andersen seems to be the favorite for each start moving forward after posting a .966 save percentage over those three wins.

Andersen made 27 saves in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Nashville.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen has rung up three straight wins for the quacks and is clearly the team's top 'tender right now. He's now one win from a berth in the second round.

Andersen will work between the pipes for Game 5 against the Predators, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
The series is knotted at two games apiece and Andersen, with a nearly flawless .983 save percentage, has claimed the pair of victories for the Ducks, a stark contrast to the performance of goalie teammate John Gibson (.900 save rate). You have to like Andersen's fantasy prospects given his recent performance and the Ducks working with the league's top-ranked defense and power play.

Andersen turned aside 30 of the 31 shots he faced in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Predators in Game 4.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson finally allowed a goal after a shutout streak of 91:26. It seems that Andersen will be the goalie the Ducks will continue to roll with as he's only allowed one goal in the two games that he's started. As long as he keeps up performances like he has in the past two games, there's no reason for the Ducks to go back to John Gibson. The 26-year-old will surely be between the pipes when the series shifts back to Anaheim this Sunday and if goaltending like this keeps up, the Preds are going to be on the outside looking in rather quickly.

Andersen will protect the cage in Wednesday's Game 4 matchup with the Predators in Nashville, Helene Elliott of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen swatted away all 27 shots he faced against the Predators after receiving his first start of the postseason in Game 3, earning a shot again between the pipes for Game 4. As long as he continues performing reasonably well, there's no reason to believe the Ducks will switch back to John Gibson anytime soon. Andersen had massive splits favoring home ice during the regular season (2.61 GAA, .910 save percentage on the road), but playoff hockey can bring out the best in those suited for the pressure. It would be surprising if he posts consecutive shutouts, but in a vital game for the Ducks, it will be interesting to see if the 26-year-old can rise to the task.

Andersen notched a shutout Tuesday, stopping all 27 shots that came his way in a 3-0 win in Game 3.
EDGE Analysis
Coach Bruce Boudreau handed over the keys to Andersen, who had little room for error with Anaheim losing their first two at home. The 26-year-old netminder rewarded his coach with the second shutout of his career, doing so in exceptional fashion on the road and killing all five of Nashville's power-play opportunities. The Denmark native earned another shot in Thursday's crucial Game 4.

Andersen has been confirmed as the starter Tuesday against the Predators, Adam Vingan of The Tennessean reports.
EDGE Analysis
After two disappointing losses to open the series, coach Bruce Boudreau has turned over the reigns to Andersen who has played in just one game since the end of March. During the regular season, the 26-year-old put together a solid campaign as he went 22-9-7 including three shutouts. In his two previous matchups with Nashville, the netminder split the outings while allowing five pucks to find the back of the net.

Andersen finished the 2015-16 season with a 2.30 GAA, .919 save percentage and a 22-9-7 record in 43 games played.
EDGE Analysis
Despite having to sit out five of the final six games of the season, Andersen put on a clinic to close out the season. He went 11-1-1 in his final 14 starts and also picked up his three shutouts on the season in that span. A starter has not yet been named for the first game of the Ducks' series against Predators, but with the way Andersen has been playing of late, it is likely that he will be getting many opportunities throughout these playoffs.
