Karlsson assisted on both Ottawa goals -- one on the power play -- but went minus-2 in Thursday's 7-2 annihilation at the hands of the Oilers.
EDGE Analysis
Even when the Sens put up a clunker, there's Karlsson, still getting his. He just keeps on maintaining that point-per-game pace, and there's no reason to think anything will slow him down as long as he remains healthy.

Karlsson racked up two helpers and five shots in Thursday's 6-3 loss to the Devils.
EDGE Analysis
Though he hasn't scored a goal since Nov. 14, Karlsson's been doing everything he can to generate offense. The Swedish defenseman is riding a three-game point streak and has now hit the 40-assist mark for the fourth time in his NHL career. Karlsson is one of the reasons that the Senators average nearly three goals a game, and with at least three shots in three of his last five games, expect him to soon break out of his scoring funk.

Karlsson provided an assist in Monday's win over the Sharks.
EDGE Analysis
The helper came on the power play, but Karlsson also sported an unsightly minus-3 rating for the contest. Nevertheless, the defenseman continues to tick along at an extraordinary pace with 47 points in 46 contests, as he's on pace to eclipse the 70-point mark for the third time in his career.

Karlsson picked up an assist and a couple penalty minutes in Thursday's loss to the Panthers.
EDGE Analysis
The assists just keep on piling up for the NHL's top blueliner -- he hasn't scored a goal since Dec. 20, but has tallied six assists in the seven games since. No defenseman has broken 80 points since Nicklas Lidstrom posted exactly that many in 2005-06, but Karlsson's in position to do just that. That's quite the achievement in this era of reduced offense.

Karlsson grabbed a pair of assists Tuesday, helping Ottawa get the win over Boston.
EDGE Analysis
Karlsson is riding a six game point steak, tallying three goals and five assists. The defenseman registered over 65 points in each of his last two seasons and is on pace to do so again, recording 40 points in 36 games this season. The 25-year-old will have plenty of opportunities to score as he leads the team in ice time, averaging 28:03 per game

Karlsson picked up a goal and an assist in 24:57 on the ice Monday against Los Angeles.
EDGE Analysis
Karlsson leads the entire NHL with 27 assists, and is fourth in the league with 34 points. The offensive-minded defenseman had failed to record a single point in his last four games after picking up 20 in his previous 12, but he had no trouble getting back on the scoresheet as part of Ottawa's five-goal outburst. He's the cream of the crop when it comes to production from the blue line.

Karlsson recorded three points for the second straight game Saturday, scoring a goal -- the overtime winner -- and chipping in two assists in a 3-2 win over the Islanders.
EDGE Analysis
It's no secret that Karlsson is the league's most prolific offensive defenseman, but he's been on another level this season, as his 32 points in 26 games will attest. His 26 assists lead the league while his 32 points have him in fourth in the NHL in scoring behind stud forwards Patrick Kane, Tyler Seguin and Jamie Benn. Could the Swede best his 78-point career high set in 2011-12? It'll be hard to keep up his current scoring rate of 1.23 points per game -- a pace that would haul in 101 points over a full season should it continue -- but his track record of sustained elite production certainly bodes well for his chances. Regardless, Karlsson is an absolute treat to watch on any given night and is a godsend to fantasy owners lucky enough to have him.

Karlsson picked up a pair of power-play assists in regulation, then helped out on the overtime winner Thursday against the Blackhawks.
EDGE Analysis
All three assists were of the primary variety -- no cheapies here. After seeing his nine-game point streak come to an end Tuesday against Philadelphia, Karlsson wasted no time getting back on the scoresheet, and he leapfrogged John Klingberg for the points lead among defensemen in the process.

Karlsson accounted for both Ottawa goals against the Jackets' Curtis McElhinney and assisted on the empty-netter in Thursday's 3-0 win.
EDGE Analysis
After opening the season with a big, fat goose egg in the goals category for the first 14 games, Karlsson has lit on fire, finding twine five times in the last five games and chipping in four assists to boot. He's now rocketed into the NHL's top 10 in points, having piled up 21 in just 19 games -- a stat almost every forward in the league has to look at with envy.

Karlsson posted a goal and a power-play assist for the second consecutive game Thursday against Vancouver, adding a plus-1 rating and two PIM in a winning effort.
EDGE Analysis
The goal was vintage Karlsson, a one-timer from wide-open ice that he blasted past Ryan Miller. Before Tuesday's rather similar two-point performance, Karlsson hadn't posted a goal all year long and hadn't recorded a multi-point effort in nearly a month, dating back to Oct. 14. Of course, as we've seen in recent years, there's no other defenseman who can put the puck home like Karlsson can, so expect the points to keep flooding in for the NHL's premier offensive blueliner.
