Karlsson scored two goals in Wednesday's 4-3 win over the Maple Leafs.
He's not quite on the same scoring pace he was last season, but Karlsson has racked up four points in his last four games, and remains one of the elite fantasy defensemen in the entire league.

Karlsson notched his eighth goal of the season in Thursday's win over the Canadiens.
Karlsson is due to finish well south of last season's astounding 74-point output, but he still unquestionably ranks as one of the best fantasy blueliners. Once he begins to notice an uptick in his 5.0 shooting percentage (his career mark is 6.8%), Karlsson should notice a rise in his point totals in the second half of the season.

Karlsson was credited for an assist and drew three infractions that yielded a total of six PIM in Sunday's loss to the Lightning.
The penalty minutes marked a season-best for Karlsson, while the assist allowed him to improve his point streak to three games. The blueliner remains stuck in a bit of a goal slump with no markers since Dec. 7, despite attempting 37 shots during that time. That has resulted in his shooting percentage to drop to 5.0 percent, well below his career mark of 6.8 percent. Twenty goals and 70 points might not be in the works for Karlsson for a second consecutive season, but he's due to tickle the twine sooner or later.

Karlsson dished out two helpers Monday as the Sens beat the visiting Sabres 5-2.
The captain had gone pointless over his last three games but got back into the thick of things in this one, setting up two thirds of Bobby Ryan's hat trick. Karlsson's up to seven goals and 25 points in 36 games this season, and although his minus-11 rating is disappointing, he's more than made up for it with an insane 138 shots on net, good for fourth overall in the NHL.

Karlsson collected a pair of helpers in Friday's win over Anaheim.
Karlsson now has points in two straight games after being held off the scoresheet in his previous three game. The 24-year-old has seven goals and 23 points in 32 games on the season, to go with a minus-12 rating. He sits second in the NHL with 124 shots on goal and is one of the best offensive defenseman in the game. Keep him rolling.

Karlsson scored the overtime-winner and had eight shots on goal in Sunday's win over Vancouver.
A clutch effort from Karlsson, who now has a point in three straight games and is up to 20 points (seven goals) in 27 games on the season. While he may be hard-pressed to match last season's 74 points, Karlsson should still net 20 goals in 2014-15. He's one of the best fantasy defensemen around. You know what to do.

Karlsson scored his sixth goal of the year and added an assist in Monday's 4-3 loss to the Red Wings. He also fired four shots on goal.
That's 16 points in 20 games for the Swedish stud, whose whopping 81 shots tie him for third overall in the NHL. Karlsson is essentially a forward playing defense -- and a good one at that -- so owners can bank on high-end production all season long. Enjoy.

Karlsson scored a power-play goal in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Blues.
It was Karlsson's five marker of the season, giving him a point in each of the Sens' last three games. Karlsson's 14 points rank sixth among all NHL blueliners, but he's a whopping nine points behind the leader, Calgary's Mark Giordano.

Karlsson finished Saturday's game against the Bruins with a team-worst minus-4 rating and three giveaways.
While plus/minus rating is far from a perfect statistic to gauge a player's performance, Karlsson's minus-4 Saturday was well-deserved. His turnover in the second period resulted in Matt Fraser's first goal of the evening, and his poor defensive positioning a few minutes later resulted in Fraser's second snipe. Karlsson then carelessly gave away the puck in the third period, resulting in an uncontested blast from the point by Dennis Seidenberg for Boston's fourth goal. The blueliner is a breathtaking talent on the offensive end and an asset for fantasy owners, but as Saturday's performance showed, he's occasionally liable to cost the Senators a game.

Karlsson and the Senators will not play Wednesday after their scheduled game against the Maple Leafs was postponed in light of the ongoing crisis in Ottawa, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.
Multiple gunmen reportedly fired shots Wednesday morning in the downtown area of the Canadian capital, with one shooter dead and possibly one or more still at large. With several government buildings on lockdown, safety will understandably take greater precedence than proceeding with the game as scheduled. The NHL has yet to announce a make-up date for the postponed contest.
