Larkin scored a goal on four shots and had an assist in a 6-3 win over the Sabres on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Larkin only has 13 goals, which likely means he is going to post a career low in that category. However, it seems to be largely a matter of bad puck luck. The 21-year-old has notched 218 shots on net in 78 games, so his lack of goal scoring can likely be blamed on his 5.6 shooting percentage. He's made up for the lack of goals, though, with 45 assists.

Larkin's pair of assists in Tuesday's 5-2 home win over the Penguins widened his career-best point total to 56 through 77 games.
EDGE Analysis
The Michigan native has lit the lamp 12 times to complement 44 helpers on the season, and he's also notched a career-high eight points on the power play. One would think he'd be able to do more with the man advantage given his incredible speed, but that's splitting hairs on an otherwise remarkable year for the third-year forward.

Larkin scored a goal Saturday in a 4-3 loss to Toronto.
EDGE Analysis
It was just his third goal in his last 20 games. Larkin's overall point tally (54 points) is the best of his career. But his combined minus-40 over the last two seasons is a major blemish on his game. Then again, that might make Larkin a whole lot cheaper come next draft day.

Larkin motored his way to two goals and an assist in Tuesday's 5-4 shootout win over the Flyers at Little Caeser's Arena.
EDGE Analysis
Larkin was on a mission to help his team snap a season-worst 10-game losing skid. He put a game-high eight shots on goal and managed his first multi-goal outing of the season. The Michigan native leads the team in points with 53 (11 goals, 42 assists) through 73 games, so just imagine what he would be able to do on a team that scores more consistently. Larkin will be a restricted free agent this summer, as his three-year, entry-level contract is about to expire.

Larkin generated a secondary assist in Sunday's 4-1 road loss to the Wild.
EDGE Analysis
The speedster seemingly gave it his all in this one, as he also managed a team-high six shots on goal. Larkin is now one assist shy of 40 in his third NHL season, but he's stuck at nine goals and has been buoyed by a stagnant Detroit offense in general -- one that only averages 2.58 goals per game to rank 27th overall.

Larkin picked up an even-strength assist in Tuesday's 3-2 home loss to the Predators.
EDGE Analysis
This snapped a three-game pointless drought for Larkin, who's now just two points away from establishing a career high in said category. The hometown kid has set the offensive standard for his teammates, having accumulated nine goals and 35 assists, but you're not likely to see any Detroit skater finishing with a point-per-game output by season's end since the Wings currently rank 27th in scoring.

Larkin manufactured two primary assists Sunday, proving to be instrumental in a 5-4 overtime road win over the Capitals.
EDGE Analysis
Larkin leads the Red Wings with 42 points. After a tough sophomore campaign that included only 32 points through 80 games, the third-year trailblazer has turned the corner by learning the best way to utilize his speed, and Larkin's 34 helpers prove that he's making his teammates better in the process. Expect the Michigan native to get paid handsomely once his entry-level contract expires this summer. He's a natural-born leader with a rigid work ethic and the kind of guy that the team should be happy to build around.

Larkin picked a goal and an assist at even strength Monday en route to a 3-0 road win over the Devils.
EDGE Analysis
"D-Boss," as he's affectionately called, possesses a lethal combination of speed and skill, plus he's been skating on a line with Andreas Athanasiou, who is an extremely crafty forward in his own right. Those two hooked up on two of the three goals against the Devils in this latest contest, and there should be plenty more where that came from down the stretch. Larkin is up to eight goals and 30 assists as he continues to produce at a consistent pace for a Red Wings team hoping to avoid missing the playoffs for a second straight season.

Larkin provided a secondary assist in Saturday's 3-1 home loss to the Hurricanes.
EDGE Analysis
After experiencing the dreaded sophomore slump in 2016-17, Larkin comfortably leads his team with 36 points (seven goals, 29 assists) through 45 games. The Michigan native, who's lauded for his rigid work ethic and high compete level, is firmly in a top-six role and he's already set a personal best with eight power-play points. Detroit very well could miss the playoffs for the second straight season, but expect Larkin to do everything in his power to avoid such a fate.

Larkin scored a goal during a 4-0 victory Sunday over Chicago.
EDGE Analysis
Andreas Athanasiou was able to find the 21-year-old perched in front of the goal crease, and Larkin found the twine to record his first goal of 2018. Larkin has found his stride during his junior season as he's now up to 34 points (six goals, 28 assists) in 42 games -- already surpassing point total from last year -- and since he's averaging 19:53 of ice time coupled with 2:20 on the power play, there's no reason he can't keep up his current pace.
