Keith will not skate Saturday against the Avalanche in the regular season finale for the Blackhawks, Scott Powers of ESPN Chicago reports.
There's no need to put Keith on the ice with the playoff opponent locked up as the Blackhawks will take on the Predators in the Stanley Cup first round. The Blackhawks also are resting Jonathan Toews and Corey Crawford. Keith finishes the regular season with 10 goals and 35 assists. It's the most goals for Keith since 2009-10 (14 goals), but his assists were down significantly from last season's 55.

Keith tallied a goal and went plus-2 in Friday's comeback victory over the Sabres.
Keith is up to 10 goals on the season, the third time in his illustrious career that he's reached double digits in that category. To an extent, the increase in Keith's goal scoring has made up for his sizable decline in assists from his Norris-winning 2013-14 campaign, but the blueliner is still probably delivering less fantasy value on the whole. Even so, with 45 points and a plus-13 rating over 77 games, Keith is still unquestionably one of the elite talents at his position.

Keith did not practice on Friday, but Blackhawks'
coach Joel Quenneville said that he will be skating Saturday against the Stars, CSN Chicago reports.
Quenneville said that it was only a rest day for
Keith who assisted on the lone Hawks' goal in the 1-0 win over the Rangers on Wednesday. While Keith's goal numbers have increased this season, overall his numbers are down, 41 points (8 goals and 33 assists) in 69 games. Last season he tallied six goals and 55 assists in 79 games.

Keith recorded an assist and three shots on goal in Wednesday's 1-0 win over the Rangers.
It's been a down season for Keith compared to a year ago, but with eight goals, 41 points, and a plus-18 rating over 69 games, he's still very clearly an upper-tier fantasy asset. Perhaps more notably, he's beginning to find even more of a scoring touch of late, producing a point in each of his last four games. Keep rolling him out there.

Keith contributed to a 2-1 win over Arizona on Thursday by notching a power-play assist.
Keith adds bundles of helpers from the blue line each year and 2014-15 is no exception. This season, he has already matched his age (31) in assists, ranking inside the top-20 at his position. Your league would be considered quite unconventional if Keith's numbers wouldn't help you out.

Keith factored into all of his team's scoring, assisting on both goals in Sunday's 6-2 loss to the Bruins.
Keith has been getting back on to the scoresheet with regularity lately after enduring a brief dry spell, racking up five points in his last six contests. He's well off the pace of last season's 61-point campaign, but with 35 points in 59 games, the 31-year-old is still offering solid production off the blueline.

Keith collected a power-play assist in Wednesday's 5-4 loss to the Canucks.Keith's 31 points in 54 games keep in the upper echelon of fantasy defensemen, but he's predictably fallen well off the pace of last season's 61-point showing. Scoring slumps of five and six games over the last five weeks seem to have been Keith's greatest downfall, though his shot totals during those droughts have remained strong.

Keith scored what turned out to be the game-winner Friday night and ended a goal-drought that dates back to December 6.
The goal was his seventh of the season and is one more than his entire scoring of last season. In addition to seven goals, Keith has 23 assists on the season. Unless he has an incredible run in the second half, Keith will not match his career high of 55 assists that he collected last season.

Keith registered an assist and five shots on goal en route to drawing a plus-3 rating in Tuesday's win over the Coyotes.
So ends the longest scoring drought of the season for the blueliner, who had gone the previous six games without a point. With 27 points in 45 games, Keith doesn't seem likely to defend his Norris Trophy-winning campaign of a year ago, but he's still productive enough to warrant an active spot in any fantasy lineup.

Keith delivered in clutch fashion Sunday against Dallas, assisting on the game-tying goal from Brad Richards, before setting up Patrick Sharp for the overtime winner.
Keith is now riding a four-game point streak, compiling seven assists in that span. He has been super reliable all season, netting six goals and 26 points in 38 games, to go with a plus-12 rating. Averaging 25:59 of ice time and quarterbacking the Hawks' power-play, the 31-year-old could hit 55 points this season. He needs to be in your lineup every game.
