Schlemko registered two power-play assists in Thursday's 5-4 overtime victory over Nashville.
EDGE Analysis
Schlemko hadn't made an impact in the box score for six straight games, all while sporting a minus-6 rating. The Devils are struggling and the defenseman is sinking with the boat, but it's nice to see the 28-year-old grab his second multi-point outing of the season and help New Jersey get back in the win column. Even still, Schlemko is too inconsistent to trust in most formats.

Schlemko scored a goal and added a power-play assist Thursday in a 3-2 shootout loss to the Leafs.
EDGE Analysis
He's really come alive on offense lately, racking up six points in the last five games. Schlemko's usage has been ramping up lately -- after averaging just over 17 minutes for much of the year, he's averaged well over 20 in the last six games, coinciding with the absence of Jon Merrill (upper body). While we can't expect him to keep up anything resembling this pace, it certainly seems Schlemko has carved himself out a permanent role on the Devils' power play, which gives him value in deeper formats.

Schlemko scored a third-period power-play goal on his only shot of the game Tuesday against the Rangers, and it held up as the winner. However, he also went minus-2.
EDGE Analysis
While the goal was his first since Dec. 29, Schlemko's piled up four points -- all of them on the power play -- in the last four games. Unfortunately, despite playing in front of one of the best goalies in the league in Cory Schneider, Schlemko owns a minus-8 rating, and the reasons for that were on display Tuesday, as he was on the ice for two J.T. Miller goals at even strength. Nonetheless, the late-blooming Schlemko has shown he belongs in the NHL, and his role on the man advantage gives him sneaky fantasy value in deeper formats.

Schlemko (illness) will play Tuesday against the Penguins, Rich Chere of the Newark Star-Ledger reports.
EDGE Analysis
Schlemko didn't practice Monday due to an illness, but was never in serious danger of missing Tuesday's matchup with Pittsburgh. The 28-year-old defender has tallied 12 points (four goals, eight assits) in 41 games this season, and is expected to be paired with Eric Gelinas in Tuesday's contest.

Schlemko skipped practice Monday due to an illness, but coach John Hynes is "planning on" him playing Tuesday against the Penguins, Tom Gulitti of The Record reports.
EDGE Analysis
Schlemko joined Adam Larsson on the sidelines for Monday's session due to illness, but it appears the team expects both to play Tuesday. If either he or Larsson aren't able to go, the Devils would likely need to recall some additional support along the blue line, but that determination should come at some point on gameday.

Schlemko dished out the primary assists on a pair of power-play goals Thursday against the Senators.
EDGE Analysis
It was Schlemko's powerful one-timer from the point that Joseph Blandisi deflected home for his first NHL goal, and the blueliner fed Kyle Palmieri nicely on the left wing for the second helper. The 28-year-old has been seeing solid power-play minutes since early November, but nonetheless still owns a meager 11 points for the season. Those plays were nice, but we'll need to see much more consistency before Schlemko becomes a reliable fantasy play.

Schlemko (lower body) will not play against Boston on Friday, Rich Chere of The Star-Ledger reports.
EDGE Analysis
Schlemko is one of many Devils currently sidelined with an injury and will miss his second consecutive game. The 28-year-old told reporters he hoped to be ready to go for Sunday's meeting with the Wild. In his 34 outings this season, the defenseman has tallied nine points, including four helpers with the extra attacker.

Schlemko will miss Wednesday's game against the Canadians with a lower-body injury, Tom Gulitti of The Record reports.
EDGE Analysis
Schlemko missed practice Tuesday, but was originally classified by coach John Hynes as needing a maintenance day. In his last 10 outings, the 28-year-old has registered two goals and two assists while averaging over 17 minutes of ice time per game. If he can get healthy, the defenseman is on pace to have the best offensive season of his career.

Schlemko (undisclosed) is on the ice for pregame warmups and is expected to play Saturday against Anaheim, Tom Gulitti of The Record reports.
EDGE Analysis
Schlemko has been dealing with an undisclosed injury over the past few days, but head coach John Hynes relayed to reporters early Saturday that he expected the defenseman to be on the ice against the Ducks. He's taking warmup and should be able play Saturday.

Schlemko (undisclosed) could be a game-time decision for Saturday's tilt against the Ducks, Tom Gulitti of The Record reports.
EDGE Analysis
The report also notes that head coach John Hynes stated that Schlemko "should be okay to play," so it appears as though the blueliner is likely closer to probable than questionable for Saturday's contest. If Schlemko is ultimately unable to go, Eric Gelinas will likely draw into the Devils' lineup in his absence.
