Schlemko (lower body) hopes to be available Saturday against the Ducks, Kevin Kurz of CSN Bay Area reports.
EDGE Analysis
Schlemko's return date keeps getting pushed back, but the serviceable stay-at-home defenseman has avoided going on IR. With 15 points (two goals, 13 assists) in 51 games, Schlemko probably isn't that far above replacement level in the majority of fantasy leagues -- if at all.

Schlemko (lower body) is "getting a lot closer" to returning to the lineup, per coach Peter DeBoer, though it won't happen Tuesday night against the Sabres, Curtis Pashelka of the San Jose Mercury News reports.
EDGE Analysis
A proficient shot-blocking defenseman who has a teaspoon's worth of offensive flavor in his game, Schlemko will now set his sights on returning for Thursday's home contest against the Blues.

Schlemko (lower body) has no timetable for his return, though he remains day-to-day, Curtis Pashelka of the San Jose Mercury News reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Sharks appear to be labeling the defenseman day-to-day in the sense that he may avoid placement on IR, but in that same light, we'd be surprised to see him come back for either of the two contests that'll precede Sunday's clash with the Stars. Until Schlemko proves that he's fit to play, Dylan DeMelo should continue to work on the third pair with Brenden Dillon or Tim Heed.

Schlemko (lower body) is not in the lineup for Sunday's road game against the Wild.
EDGE Analysis
It's unclear if Schlemko's absence from the lineup is a result of injury or of just having lost his roster spot to Dylan DeMelo. Despite four assists in his last six games, Schlemko has not put up the sort of numbers overall this season that would make him worthy of fantasy consideration.

Schlemko (lower body) will accompany the team to Minnesota ahead of Sunday's game against the Wild, the San Jose Mercury News reports.
EDGE Analysis
This doesn't necessarily mean that Schlemko will be fit to play in that next contest, especially since he wasn't able to practice Saturday and Dylan DeMelo is suddenly an option after missing 22 games with a wrist injury. You'd have to be in a moderately deep league to be stressing over Schlemko's status -- he has just 15 points in 51 games, though 84 blocked shots over that span isn't too shabby.

Schlemko collected two assists in a 6-5 overtime loss Wednesday to Florida.
EDGE Analysis
The journeyman defenseman also uncharacteristically fired six shots on goal, taking a page out of Brent Burns' book. Schlemko now has a modest 13 points across 46 games in his first season as a Shark, which isn't enough to make him worth owning in anything but the deepest of formats.

Schlemko scored in overtime Saturday against the Avalanche.
EDGE Analysis
It was just the first point in eight games for Schlemko, who now has two goals and nine points in 35 games on the season. We'd tell you that this overtime winner now makes him relevant in fantasy, but then we'd be lying. The 29-year-old has never reached 20 points in his career and doesn't see much ice time, making him only of value in the deepest of leagues.

Schlemko will return from the IR on Saturday, Kevin Kurz of CSN Bay Area reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 29-year-old has missed the last five games with an upper body injury. He could get off to a slow start on his return, especially given his lack of production so far this year, with only eight points in 30 games.

The Sharks placed Schlemko (upper body) on injured reserve Tuesday, Curtis Pashelka of Bay Area News Group reports.
EDGE Analysis
Schlemko sustained the ailment in early January and has missed the Sharks' last three contests as a result. The 29-year-old is now slated to miss the team's next four games as he continues his rehab. Pending any setbacks in the next week, he'll be eligible to return Jan. 18 on the road against Los Angeles.

Schlemko (upper body) will remain back in San Jose as the team embarks on a two-game road trip, Curtis Pashelka of Bay Area News Group reports.
EDGE Analysis
Schlemko's next opportunity to return to the lineup will be Jan. 14 when the Blues come to down. In addition to the various maladies that have kept the blueliner sidelined, he was also benched for three games. As a result, the 29-year-old has appeared in just six of the Sharks' previous 15 outings. Once cleared to return, Schlemko will have to beat out Dylan DeMelo for a spot on the game-day roster.
