Daniel Carcillo was a healthy scratch for three consecutive contests before he got back into the Los Angeles lineup on Monday. He played 10:02 in the Kings' 5-2 loss to Dallas and he was credited with two hits. Carcillo has skated in 26 games for Los Angeles this season and he leads the club with 57 penalty minutes. He also has 54 hits and two points.

Daniel Carcillo scored once and added an assist to lead the Kings to a 3-0 win over Florida. Carcillo scored the first period winner on a nice setup by Mike Richards and then helped Jordan Nolan score the final goal. It was the first two points for Carcillo as a Los Angeles King. His fantasy value is mostly in penalty minutes but the big winger chips in occasionally offensively as he did on Sunday.

Daniel Carcillo could make his Los Angeles Kings debut Monday. Carcillo has been a healthy scratch in the Kings first two road games but with Los Angeles back at home and the apparent troubles they are having on the left side, Carcillo could draw into the lineup. He has a lot of fantasy value in pools that use penalty minutes as a category and he is capable of chipping in with a few points.

Daniel Carcillo is not in the lineup for the Kings for Thursday's season opener against Minnesota. Carcillo was targeted by many fantasy players in leagues that reward penalty minutes, but he'll be difficult to retain if his place in the lineup isn't guaranteed.

Daniel Carcillo thinks he'll blend in nicely with the Los Angeles Kings. "I've known Dustin [Brown]. I played against Dustin in the OHL, and obviously I know Mike [Richards] and Jeff [Carter] from Philly, and we've stayed really good friends," said Carcillo. "So it's a lot easier to come to a team and when you know two guys and you're comfortable with them. It makes it a whole lot easier. I've known Matt Greene for a little bit in passing. Everyone on the team seems great. I've met [Jonathan Quick] and [Matt] Frattin, and everyone seems really nice, and that's usually the way it goes. All hockey guys are down to earth guys, and the style that this team plays is right up my alley, so I'm really excited to be here." Carcillo was acquired from Chicago Blackhawks last month in exchange for a conditional pick in 2015.

The Los Angeles Kings have acquired Daniel Carcillo from the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for a 2015 conditional pick. The Kings certainly love to grab former Philadelphia Flyers forwards. Carcillo didn't had fallen in the Blackhawks depth charts to the point where it wasn't clear if there would even be a spot for him on any of their four lines. The Kings presumably see a place for him, otherwise they wouldn't have bothered to take his $825k cap hit when they're already against the ceiling. With that in mind, he might have a bit of fantasy value in 2013-14 as he can push the 200-penalty minute milestone when he plays regularly.

Daniel Carcillo is dealing with an illness. Just in case you were wondering why Carcillo didn't practice Friday. He's not expected to play on Saturday even if he's healthy.

Daniel Carcillo isn't on the ice for Chicago's Friday morning skate. Carcillo is expected to serve as a healthy scratch in Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final. He hasn't played since May 18.

Daniel Carcillo was a healthy scratch Saturday. Carcillo did not play in the series against the Kings and has not suited up since May 18th against the Red Wings when he led Chicago in hits with seven. Carcillo has played only four games in the 2013 playoffs and may not get into a game in the Final against Boston unless coach Joel Quenneville feels Chicago needs to play a tougher game or injuries force his inclusion in the lineup. He has only an assist in four games this post-season after finding the back of the net twice and assisting once in 23 regular season games.

Daniel Carcillo led the Chicago Blackhawks in hits Saturday with seven. Carcillo had only one hit in his first three playoff games this season so he took his game to another level Saturday. He is a bottom-six player at this stage of his career and should be taken in only deep, deep fantasy pools as such.
