Daniel Carcillo will suit up for the Rangers in Thursday's game. He was a healthy scratch on Tuesday, but he'll replace Derek Dorsett in the lineup against Minnesota. Carcillo has two goals and 39 penalty minutes in 21 games with the Rangers since he was acquired from Los Angeles.

Rangers forward Daniel Carcillo scored the tiebreaking goal 4:36 into the third period as New York completed a two-game sweep of the outdoor series with a 2-1 victory over the New York Islanders at frigid Yankee Stadium on Wednesday night. Building off their 7-3 win over New Jersey at the ballpark in the Bronx on Sunday, the Rangers took out another division rival under the lights in front of 50,027 fans. The temperature was 22 degrees when the first puck dropped at 7:45 p.m. with a single-digit wind-chill factor. It got progressively colder during the night. Benoit Pouliot also scored for the Rangers, who are 3-0 in their history while playing outside. Carcillo's goal was his third of the season. Pouliot recorded his ninth of the season.

Daniel Carcillo had a big fantasy night as he scored for the first time as a member of the New York Rangers and had 15 penalty minutes. Carcillo now has two goals and an assist and 72 penalty minutes. He fought the Flyers Luke Schenn in the second period and was one of four players to get a 10-minute misconduct with 11 seconds left in the game. Carcillo should pick up lots of penalty minutes with the Rangers and can chip in with the occasional point from time-to-time.

Daniel Carcillo will stay in the Rangers' lineup on Friday. Carcillo logged 7:15 minutes on Wednesday, but he only participated in one shift in the third period. He's potentially a great source of penalty minutes if he solidifies a spot on the Rangers' fourth line.

Daniel Carcillo logged 7:15 minutes in his Rangers debut on Wednesday. Carcillo was credited with two hits in the Rangers' 3-2 win over Chicago. Rangers coach Alain Vigneault is hoping Carcillo can be an energy guy for them. He should play a physical game that will lead to him excelling in the hits and penalty minutes categories, but he won't do much offensively.

Daniel Carcillo will make his Rangers debut on Wednesday. Carcillo was acquired from the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday in exchange for a conditional seventh-round pick in the 2014 draft. If the Rangers intend to use him regularly as a bottom-six forward, then he'll be a decent source of penalty minutes, but we wouldn't count on him doing much offensively.

Rangers coach Alain Vigneault wouldn't commit to Daniel Carcillo making his Rangers debut on Wednesday. Carcillo was acquired on Saturday, so he's had some time to settle in. The Rangers are playing against Chicago, who Carcillo won the Stanley Cup with last year.

Daniel Carcillo is questionable to make his Rangers debut on Monday. The rugged winger is not hurt but coach Alain Vigneault will have a hard time switching up a winning lineup that whupped the Maple Leafs 7-1 on Saturday. Carcillo can chip in offensively but has only two points this season. His main fantasy value is in the penalty minute category as he has 57 this season.

Los Angeles has dealt Daniel Carcillo to the New York Rangers for a conditional seventh-round pick in the 2014 draft. In 26 games for the Kings this season, he has two points, 57 penalty minutes and 5e hits. "We picked up a player than can bring an element of toughness, with us losing [Derek] Dorsett yesterday for 4-6 weeks it's an area we felt we needed to get a little bit better," coach Alain Vigneault said. "Dan became available and we picked him up. For us it's a low-risk move. He's in the last year of his contract, not very expensive, and hopefully he'll come in and help us." He could have some value if he plays regularly and you are seeking penalty minutes.
