Craig Anderson will play between the pipes on Wednesday.
Anderson enter the season as the Senators' starting goaltender, but he's been losing that job to Robin Lehner. After allowing at least four goals in three of his last four games, Anderson needs a strong showing to help keep him in this battle for playing time.

Look for Craig Anderson to get the start in goal against the Red Wings Saturday.
It's not official, but all signs are pointing in that direction. Anderson will need to play well to hold off the hard-charging Robin Lehner in the battle for the starting goalie job in Ottawa.

Craig Anderson struggled Wednesday as the Senators dropped a 4-3 decision to Minnesota.
Anderson was beaten for four goals on 25 shots in the defeat and has now dropped three of his last four decisions. After a wonderful season in 2012-13, the veteran has stumbled to a 5-7-2 record this year and has amassed a save percentage of .900 and a 3.31 GAA. With Robin Lehner looming in the background, Anderson is treading on thin ice.

Craig Anderson will start for the Senators on Wednesday.
It will be Anderson's fourth start in five games. He's struggled lately, which puts his hold on the number one gig in doubt, given Robin Lehner's strong performance so far this season.

Craig Anderson's tough times seem to persist, as his Ottawa Senators fell to the Columbus Blue Jackets 4-1 on Sunday.
Anderson allowed four goals on 22 shots. He's now taken the loss in five of his last seven games and only has one win in that span (he didn't receive a decision when he was injured on Nov. 3 against the Dallas Stars). It's surprising that Robin Lehner isn't getting more playing time, all things considered.

Craig Anderson will play between the pipes on Sunday against Columbus.
After allowing at least three goals in each of his previous four starts, Anderson bounced back on Friday by turning aside 30 of 32 shots against Boston. Backup Robin Lehner has been amazing so far this season, so Anderson needs to be sharp to maintain his role as the Senators' starting goaltender.

Craig Anderson allowed five goals on 31 shots in Tuesday night's loss to the Philadelphia Flyers.
In his return to action after sitting out since Nov. 3, Anderson couldn't contain Philly's attack. This also ended a four-game winning streak for Ottawa when Robin Lehner was at the helm. The team has pledged support of Anderson, but a few games in both directions could change things before you know it.

Craig Anderson will get the nod for Ottawa Tuesday night against Philadelphia.
He has recovered from his neck injury. He received a vote of confidence from coach Paul MacLean on Monday when he declared that Anderson is still the team's number one goaltender despite the recent success of Robin Lehner.

Craig Anderson is ready to return to Ottawa's crease from his neck injury.
It sounds like coach Paul MacLean will stick with Anderson even though he has struggled this year and Robin Lehner has been superb during his absence. "Craig Anderson is the No. 1 goalie and he's ready to play," MacLean said. "Robin has done a good job." Unless MacLean changes his mind, it appears to be probable that Anderson will start Tuesday versus Tampa Bay.
