Anderson has crafted a 17-18-5 record along with a 3.21 GAA and .903 save percentage, which represents a huge step back from his 2016-17 campaign consisting of 25 victories and 2.28/.926 ratios. It should be tough sledding for Anderson against the league's top offense Thursday, but it's worth noting that the Bolts will counter with backup netminder Louis Domingue.

Anderson will be making his seventh consecutive appearance between the pipes. In his previous six outings, the netminder has earned a 4-0-0 record, despite a subpar 3.19 GAA. Depending on format, some owners will be happy with the wins, regardless of how many the Illinois native allows to find the back of the net -- although the high number of goals allowed makes him a riskier option in the majority of fantasy contests.

Anderson allowed three goals on 38 shots in a 6-3 victory over the Rangers on Saturday.

It's been a really rough season for Anderson, but he continues to trend in the right direction. He is 5-2-0 with a .921 save percentage in his last seven games. Anderson has now also won five straight decisions. Salvaging this season as he appears to be doing is the best Anderson owners can hope for at this point.

Anderson owns a 4-0-0 record over his last six appearances, but sandwiched in the middle was an outing in which he was yanked after allowing three goals on 10 shots. His last two efforts -- one of which came in relief -- have been particularly impressive and he will attempt to build off of them Saturday against a Rangers team that's in sell mode as the trade deadline approaches.

Anderson made 23 saves on 25 shots in an overtime victory over the Sabres on Thursday.

Though Buffalo has been one of the worst offenses in the NHL this season, Anderson will take anything he can get at this point. Though the 36-year-old has four wins and zero losses in his last six outings, Anderson came into this game with a 3.20 GAA and a .903 save percentage.

This was a solid relief showing from the veteran after being pulled in his most recent start against Toronto. Additionally, with Ottawa already beginning to sell off assets ahead of the trade deadline, it's likely Anderson's fantasy setup only gets worse moving forward.

The Leafs came out of the gate hard and fast, and the Sens had no answers. The loss snapped a three-game winning streak for Anderson, who has suffered through a relatively forgettable 2017-18. His numbers remain depressed overall and at 36, his game may have taken a downward turn.

After a rough patch at the end of January, the Senators have bounced back to win four of five games in February. Anderson is riding a three-game win streak, where he allowed three goals on over 30 shots in each contest. Therefore, Anderson could be a risky start in this Atlantic Division outing.
