Anderson saved 30 of 35 shots during Friday's 6-5 overtime win against San Jose.
EDGE Analysis
It looked ugly early with the Senators trailing 5-2 entering the third period. However, Anderson held off the Sharks, and the Ottawa skaters rallied to score four unanswered goals. While fantasy owners will take the win, the veteran netminder declined to a disappointing .896 save percentage and 3.15 GAA for the campaign. Until Ottawa shows signs of turning their season around, and in particular, improve defensively, it's difficult to start Anderson confidently in the majority of matchups.

Anderson will be in the crease for the second consecutive game Friday night against the visiting Sharks.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson treated fantasy owners to one of his best starts of the season Wednesday, allowing two goals on 35 shots to the Red Wings on the road, but super-slick winger Andreas Athanasiou was brilliant in solving Anderson twice, including his tally just six seconds into overtime. Ottawa's No. 1 goalie will now prepare for a Sharks team that has gone 6-2-2 over the last 10 games for a third-place standing in the Pacific Division.

Anderson stopped 33 of 35 shots Friday in a 2-1 overtime defeat against the Red Wings.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson had little chance on the game-winner when Andreas Athanasiou broke free off the opening faceoff, and he came up with his best performance (.943 save percentage) since the outdoor win over Montreal. However, Anderson has followed his last two strong showings with a rough outing, which does not bode well for Friday's meeting with the Sharks.

Anderson will patrol the crease in Wednesday's road game against the Red Wings.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson was shelled in his last start Wednesday against the Bruins, surrendering five goals on just 23 shots en route to a 5-1 loss. The veteran netminder will look to shake off that poor performance and bounce back in a road matchup with a Red Wings team that's 8-6-6 at home this season.

Anderson gave up five goals on 23 shots in Wednesday's loss to the Bruins.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson had a miserable outing and failed to deliver for a struggling Ottawa squad. The veteran netminder owns a lackluster 9-12-4 record and .896 save percentage through 27 appearances this season and doesn't make for an appealing fantasy option. Anderson had turned in some impressive showings prior to the holiday break, but his performance Wednesday is a reminder of how he can impact your fantasy team in a negative way. He's allowed four goals or more 11 times this season and simply isn't worth a start in most settings.

Anderson (illness) will guard the goal in Wednesday's road game against the Bruins.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson didn't dress for Saturday's game against Florida due to an illness, but whatever malady he was dealing with clearly wasn't overly serious. The veteran netminder hasn't been great of late, suffering back-to-back defeats while posting an ugly 4.40 GAA and .885 save percentage in his last two appearances. He'll look to get back on track Wednesday and pick up his 10th victory of the season in a road matchup with a red-hot Bruins team that's won four consecutive games.

As expected, Anderson (illness) will be unavailable in any capacity against the Panthers on Saturday, TSN 1200 Ottawa reports.
EDGE Analysis
According this latest report, Anderson finally ate after two days Saturday morning, so he'll understandably have to defer to Mike Condon and AHL call-up Daniel Taylor in the upcoming contest. Fortunately, due to the holiday break, Anderson will have four days to rest before the next game in Boston.

Anderson is under the weather and will likely miss Saturday's clash with Florida, Don Brennan of the Ottawa Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
The news that Anderson may not even be available as the backup all but confirms that Mike Condon will get the starting nod versus Florida. The veteran Anderson has allowed a disappointing nine goals to find the back of the net in his previous two outings, so a night off probably was coming his way anyway. If the Illinois native is unable to dress, the Senators are expected to call-up Daniel Taylor from AHL Belleville.

Anderson allowed three goals on 38 shots in Thursday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Lightning.
EDGE Analysis
The Illinois native was beaten on two straight shootout attempts by the Bolts on the way to his fourth bonus-hockey loss of the season. Having appeared in the past four games, it wouldn't be all that surprising to see Mike Condon draw Saturday's road start against the Panthers, but it'll be worth checking back to make sure that indeed takes place.

Anderson will guard the goal in Thursday's road game against the Lightning, TSN 1200 Ottawa reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson wasn't great in his last start Tuesday against Minnesota, but he also didn't get much help from his defense, as the veteran netminder ultimately surrendered six goals on a whopping 40 shots en route to a 6-4 defeat. He'll hope to get better defensive support and pick up his 10th victory of the campaign Thursday in a brutal road matchup with a fantastic Lightning team that's 13-2-1 at home this season.
