Anderson stopped 29 of 33 shots in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Maple Leafs.
EDGE Analysis
The Senators' defense continues to do him no favors, and Anderson has now faced at least 33 shots in six of seven January games while stumbling to a 3.72 GAA and .908 save percentage on the month. He has managed to win three of those games, but the 36-year-old will likely remain a risky fantasy play until he starts getting more support in front of him.

Anderson will guard the cage in Saturday's home game against the Maple Leafs,
EDGE Analysis
Anderson was sharp in his last start against the Maple Leafs on Jan. 10, turning aside 45 of the 48 shots he faced en route to an impressive 4-3 road victory. The veteran netminder may have a hard time replicating that performance in Saturday's home matchup with Toronto, as the Maple Leafs have been fantastic offensively on the road this season, averaging 3.28 goals per game, second in the NHL.

Anderson allowed three goals on 36 shots in Thursday's 4-1 loss to the Blues.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson got no help from the team in front of him, as the visitors held a 37-21 edge in shots, including an empty-netter after Anderson exited for an extra attacker late in the final frame. The 36-year-old netminder has allowed at least three goals in all but one of his past nine appearances and only has 12 wins in 33 appearances this season.

Anderson will tend the twine Thursday when the Senators host the Blues.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson has faced a barrage of shots in two of his last three outings, stopping 45 of 48 shots against both the Maple Leafs and Lightning to earn victories in those affairs. Next up for Anderson is a Blues club that sits just above those two clubs in shots per game (33.7) this season, so it wouldn't be surprising if the veteran netminder is pelted once again.

Anderson held off Toronto by making 45 stops on 48 shots in a 4-3 win over the Maple Leafs on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson didn't need a game like this in terms of the shots his defense allowed, but he did need a game like this in terms of building his confidence back up. After getting chased by the Blackhawks on Tuesday, a .938 save percentage against Toronto is a huge bounce back. Anderson has shown the talent to produce in tough spots, but his lack of consistency makes him best suited to daily situations until he gets things straightened out. Right now, neither his owners nor the Senators are sure which version they'll get.

Anderson will be between the pipes against the Maple Leafs on Wednesday, TSN 1200 Ottawa reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson got yanked early Tuesday against Chicago, after giving up four goals on 26 shots. With the extra rest, coach Guy Boucher will go right back to the veteran, rather than giving the second half of the back-to-back to No. 2 Mike Condon, who performed just as poorly in relief. In his previous seven outings, Anderson logged a disastrous 4.29 GAA and .886 save percentage. If he doesn't bring his best versus the Leafs, he could be in for another abbreviated outing.

Anderson was pulled after allowing four goals on 26 shots in Tuesday's 8-2 loss to the Blackhawks.
EDGE Analysis
As indicated by the scoreline, backup Mike Condon didn't fare any better. Ottawa actually scored the first two goals after Anderson's second-period removal, but Condon allowed two goals late in the frame and two more in the third. Neither goaltender has earned much trust from fantasy owners while playing for a team that's won only 14 of 41 games.

Anderson will get the starting nod against the Blackhawks on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson faced 118 shots in his previous three outings, stopping 108 for a .915 save percentage and posting a 2-0-1 record. It could be another busy night for the netminder, considering Chicago is averaging 34.5 shots -- second highest in the league. A banged up blue line -- Johnny Oduya (lower body), Mark Borowiecki (concussion) and Cody Ceci (undisclosed) are all questionable -- could expose Anderson to even more rubber.

Anderson made 45 saves Saturday in a 6-3 victory over the Lightning.
EDGE Analysis
One word: dominant. Anderson finally looked like the Anderson of old, especially against an elite team like the Bolts. Maybe this is just what the doctor ordered to change the Sens' outlook on 2017-18.

Anderson will defend the home net Saturday against the Lightning.
EDGE Analysis
Coming off a subpar performance against the Sharks that still resulted in a win, Anderson will look for a more conventional victory that includes a better save percentage than the .857 he posted against San Jose. It may be difficult to count on, however, with the Lightning entering Saturday leading the NHL with 3.63 goals per game. However, the club has struggled to continue that rate recently, totaling three goals or fewer in five of its last six games.
