Anderson will be the road starter for Monday's game against the Panthers, TSN 1200 Ottawa reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's been a rough campaign for Anderson, posting a .901 save percentage and 3.24 GAA on the way to a 19-20-2 record. Even when Anderson does play respectably, he's rarely rewarded due to the 25th-ranked offense in front of him. To make matters worse, the Panthers have been out for blood lately, winning eight of nine outings and scoring 4.11 goals per game in that span.

Anderson made 31 saves through overtime but was beaten twice on three shootout attempts to come away with a 4-3 loss Thursday against Buffalo.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson yielded one goal in each regulation period and came up just short of stretching his winning streak to three starts. He took three consecutive regulation losses prior to this 2-0-1 stretch and has held only one of those six opponents to fewer than three goals, so the 36-year-old netminder remains tough to trust right now regardless of matchup.

Anderson will defend the home net Thursday against the Sabres.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson has reeled off a couple of victories in a row between the pipes, but he's also allowed four or more goals in four of his last five matchups. Fortunately, the veteran netminder should have an opportunity at another good outing Wednesday against a Sabres club notching a league-worst 2.41 goals per game this season.

Anderson saved 31 of 33 shots during Monday's 3-2 overtime win against Dallas.
EDGE Analysis
Going into Big D and leaving victorious is a tall task, but Anderson and the Sens were up to it Monday. Additionally, the veteran netminder had allowed 18 goals with an .865 GAA through his previous four starts, so this rebound showing was all the more impressive. Still, there have been far more lows than highs for Anderson this season, so it's probably wise to continue being selective with his matchups, even if it means fantasy owners miss out on the odd upset gem.

Anderson will patrol the blue paint against the Stars on Monday, TSN 1200 Ottawa reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson has allowed a combined 18 goals in his previous four outings (a 4.56 GAA), but was able to walk away with one victory. The veteran has not been nearly as dominant as he was last season, but still should reach the 20-win threshold for a third straight year. The netminder hasn't been getting a lot of help from his defensemen, considering they are allowing 33.1 shots per game -- sixth highest in the league.

Anderson allowed four goals on 29 shots during a 5-4 victory over the Golden Knights on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Despite the win, Anderson is hardly a goaltender owners want to trust at the moment, as he owns a .865 save percentage in the last four games. That's his worst save percentage in any four-game span of the season. Anderson was fortunate Friday that the Senators, who are ranked in the bottom third of scoring offense, posted five goals versus the Golden Knights. That's not likely to continue, so Anderson isn't worth starting in fantasy lineups until he pulls out of this slump.

Anderson will face the Golden Knights in Vegas on Friday, TSN 1200 Ottawa reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson only has 17 wins through 46 appearances, with the veteran's save percentage dangerously close to falling south of .900. Worse yet, he has lost each of his past three starts and now has to face a Golden Knights team that is still rocking a first-place standing in the Pacific Division. Anderson's no better than a No. 2 fantasy option in goal, but the Senators did retain stud defenseman Erik Karlsson through the trade deadline and could be happy to play the spoiler role, so that's at least worth considering while setting lineups down the stretch.

Anderson made 34 saves in Saturday's 5-3 loss to the Flyers.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson's 2016-17 was one for the ages. His 2017-18 isn't even average by those same standards -- it's one of his worst, other than the early days in Chicago or his last season in Colorado. Anderson is going to be 37 in May and there's a chance this decline is very, very real. You surely have better options for your twine tent given the risk associated with both Anderson's game and the team's shortcomings.

Anderson will start in goal with the Flyers in town Saturday afternoon.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran netminder has managed a winning record (8-7-1) despite pedestrian ratios (3.40 GAA, .909) since the calendar flipped to 2018. Of course, Ottawa parted ways with a high-end forward in Derick Brassard -- he's bound for Pittsburgh after a three-team swap -- and that weakens Anderson's fantasy appeal to an even great extent. Now, he's being tasked with slowing a Flyers team that has won four straight contests and are accustomed to playing weekend matinees.

Anderson allowed four goals on 20 shots during Thursday's 4-3 loss to Tampa Bay.
EDGE Analysis
While Anderson continues to post underwhelming numbers, it's difficult to place too much blame on him for Thursday's result. The Lightning are atop the standings and the highest scoring team in the league, so it was a notable mismatch. Unfortunately, despite Anderson's respectable play most nights, it's becoming exceedingly more difficult to trust him against the majority of opponents. There's also potential for things to become worse if Ottawa deals talent before the trade deadline.
