Anderson will get the start in goal in Saturday's preseason finale against the Canadiens.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson will be a workhorse for the Senators this season, but he'll also be playing behind one of the least-talented rosters in the NHL, making him a risky option in most fantasy formats.

Anderson made 29 saves for Ottawa in a 3-2 loss to Montreal on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson would love a trade out of town. But it's hard to move a 37-year-old netminder coming off a queasy season. Anderson will play this season behind perhaps the least-talented team in the East this season. Do not over-invest.

Anderson will get the start in goal in Wednesday's preseason game against the Maple Leafs, Paul Hendrick of the Maple Leafs' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson struggled last season, posting a 23-25-6 record while registering an ugly 3.32 GAA and .898 save percentage in 58 appearances. Things are unlikely to get better in 2018-19, as he'll be playing behind one of the least talented rosters in the NHL, so fantasy owners would be wise to avoid over drafting him based on name recognition alone.

Anderson made just 19 saves during Friday's 4-0 loss to Pittsburgh.
EDGE Analysis
It's been a disappointing campaign for Anderson, as the Senators plummeted down the standings after being within a single goal of advancing to the Stanley Cup finals last spring. His .898 save percentage and 3.32 GAA weren't helpful fantasy marks, and with Ottawa a rebuild candidate, his numbers could dip even further before they improve. Additionally, age isn't on the side of the 36-year-old netminder, either. For what it's worth, this was the first time since the 2005-06 season that Anderson finished with a sub-.900 save percentage -- barring a surprise appearance in Ottawa's season finale.

Anderson will tend the twine Friday against the Penguins in Pittsburgh, TSN 1200 Ottawa reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson stymied the Sabres in his last start, stopping 32 of the 34 shots he faced to notch his 23rd wing of the season. Although he's played noticeably better on the road than at home this season, a 3.06 GAA and a .908 save percentage don't exactly spell fantasy gold in the cage. With the high-powered Penguins on deck -- averaging 3.63 goals per game at home this season -- it may be best to steer clear of Anderson in his final start of 2017-18.

Anderson turned aside 32 of 34 shots Wednesday, earning a 4-2 win over Buffalo.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson got a favorable matchup, and he took full advantage by posting his best numbers since Feb. 13. But anytime you can say that about a performance where the goaltender conceded twice means that said goaltender hasn't been getting the job done this season. Anderson's final two matchups at Pittsburgh and Boston won't be nearly as promising, and he probably shouldn't be used in either game unless you have no other options.

Anderson will start in the blue paint for Wednesday's road tilt against the Sabres.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson, much like the majority of his Ottawa teammates, has had a tough go of things in 2017-18, posting a 3.33 GAA and .898 save percentage to go along with a 22-24-6 record. The American netminder has been particularly bad over his last 13 starts, though, posting a 3.88 GAA and .881 save percentage over that span. Additionally, Anderson allowed four or more goals in seven of those contests. Despite all the negatives, Wednesday Anderson and the Sens will be facing off against a Sabres team that sits dead last both in the standings and in scoring.

Anderson made 34 saves on 40 shots Monday, taking a loss by a 6-5 score against Winnipeg.
EDGE Analysis
It's been a lousy year for Anderson, who has a GAA of 3.33, his worst since 2006, and a save percentage below .900 for the first time since 2011. His struggles are a big reason why the Senators have crashed this year after coming one goal short of the Eastern Conference championship last season, and at this point, he shouldn't be playing for your squad unless you don't have any other option.

Anderson will get the starting nod for Monday's matchup with Winnipeg, TSN 1200 Ottawa reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson has been splitting time with Mike Condon down the stretch and will likely continue to do so moving forward. As such, fantasy owners can probably expect the veteran Anderson to make just one more appearance following Monday's tilt. On the year, the netminder is 22-23-6 with a disappointing 3.28 GAA -- his worst since the 2005-06 campaign when he logged 29 games for the Blackhawks.

Anderson made 24 saves on 26 shots in a 3-2 overtime win against the Panthers on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
A rare impressive start from Anderson this season, who has struggled mightily. That includes recently, as in his three previous starts he took the loss and allowed 13 goals total. This one start can't right the ship, either. The 36-year-old still has a 3.31 GAA and .899 save percentage.
