Anderson will guard the cage in Saturday's road matchup with the Sabres.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson was sharp in his last start Thursday against Buffalo, turning aside 46 of 48 shots en route to a 4-2 victory. The veteran netminder will look to log a similarly impressive performance against the same opponent Saturday, but this time he'll be facing them on the road, where the Sabres have averaged just 2.17 goals per game this campaign, 30th in the NHL.

Anderson saved 46 of 48 shots on the way to a 4-2 home win over the Sabres on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
The Senators rank dead last in shots allowed at 38.5 per game, which has given Anderson plenty of opportunities to stand on his head and steal games. He's played extremely well considering his allied blueliners haven't been able to seal up shooting lanes to an acceptable degree, with Anderson posting a 5-3-2 record, 3.34 GAA and .914 save percentage. In fact, Anderson being under such heavy pressure makes him a sneaky play in DFS contests since he rarely gets blown up, and even when he does, Senators coach Guy Boucher has been reluctant to pull him from the cage.

Anderson will patrol the blue paint at home against the Sabres on Thursday, Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson's off night was cut short when backup Mike Condon was pulled from Tuesday's matchup with Arizona, as he stepped in to make 22 of 24 saves for a .917 save percentage. The netminder will now be backed up by Mike McKenna, but will continue to see the majority of the starts.

Anderson stopped 22 of 24 shots in relief of Mike Condon, but it wasn't enough to prevent a 5-1 loss to Arizona on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson played well against Vegas on Sunday, and the plan was to get him some rest in Tuesday's game. No such luck, however, as Condon didn't make it out of the first period, leaving Anderson to step up again for Ottawa. He did hold the Coyotes to just two goals the rest of the way, a solid performance, but he consistently faces too many shots at the net to justify a regular place in your lineup.

Anderson was saddled with a 4-3 overtime loss to the Golden Knights on Sunday, setting aside 49 of 53 shots in the process.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen was phenomenal in this road start, as he made 36 saves during 5-on-5 play and a whopping 13 on Vegas power-play chances. It was rather anti-climactic that a Jonathan Marchessault penalty shot did him in, but fortunately for the veteran goaltender, all of that standing on his head earned the Senators a point. After all, this otherwise would've been a tremendous effort gone completely to waste against a home team that only had to field 22 shots on the other end. It will be worth checking your fantasy league's scoring to see whether Anderson still outscored Marc-Andre Fleury by virtue of making so many saves in comparison to the Flower.

Anderson will get the road start against Vegas on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson will look to bounce back from Friday's dud, when he allowed six goals on 37 shots in a loss to the Avalanche. His play has been volatile lately. In the last six games, he's posted below a .890 save percentage in four contests but surpassed a .970 in the other two. The Golden Knights' offense isn't as threatening as it once was, averaging just 2.1 goals per game thus far.

Anderson will defend the cage versus the Avalanche on the road Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Despite three outings in which he allowed four or more goals, Anderson has registered a 4-2-1 record with a .915 save percentage. The Avs are averaging 3.67 goals per game (seventh best in the league), and feature a top-heavy first line that has accounted for 60 percent of the team's goals this season and will represent a difficult out for the veteran netminder.

Anderson yielded four goals on 32 shots Tuesday in a 4-1 loss to the Bruins.
EDGE Analysis
This was Anderson's first loss in his last four starts and the 37-year-old netminder now sports a 4-2-1 record on the season. The veteran goalie has routinely suffered from erratic play throughout his career and this season has been no different with Anderson sometimes appearing unbeatable and other times looking extremely shaky. Tuesday night simply saw him outplayed by Tuukka Rask. Expect Anderson back between the pipes Friday against the Avalanche.

Anderson, 37, has had a hot start to the season, winning four games and posting a .920 save percentage in six starts. Boston comes in having lost three straight --- two in overtime --- with just five goals scored in those contests.

Anderson stopped 24-of-27 shots in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over Montreal.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson was tested right off the bat, allowing a pair of goals in the first four minutes of the game. Fortunately, both he and his offense stepped up their games and earned the hard-fought overtime win. Anderson has won his last three starts, stopping 97-of-102 shots in the process. The 37-year-old should suit up again Tuesday against the Bruins.
