Brendan Morrison played on Sunday after spending two games in the press box.
Morrison hasn't made a significant impact with the Blackhawks since they acquired him on January 27th. He had a blocked shot and a hit in 12:20 minutes of playing time Sunday.

Brendan Morrison was a healthy scratch Thursday for the third time in eight games.
Morrison has been a huge disappointment for the Blackhawks who picked him up from Calgary during the All-Star break with the hope that he could center the second line. But it has not worked out thus far. ''It's a work in progress, for sure," Morrison said. "There's been a lot of mixing and matching. They're trying to figure it out and see if we can find some chemistry and see what's going to work. But I'm not happy.'' Morrison is still having trouble recovering from off-season knee surgery that occurred 10 months ago and while he feels fine sometimes, at other times it still gives him trouble. We obviously cannot recommend him at this time.

Brendan Morrison will be a healthy scratch for the Blackhawks tonight at Nashville.
For the second time since joining the Blackhawks in late January, Morrison will be healthy and watching from the press box. Morrison has failed to register a point in five games with Chicago.

Brendan Morrison will not be in the Chicago lineup Tuesday.
Morrison was acquired by the Blackhawks during the All-Star break and Chicago has et to win with him in the lineup. John Scott will draw into the lineup. It is not wise to have Morrison in your fantasy lineup at this time.

Recently acquired center Brendan Morrison was not in the lineup Friday night when the Chicago Blackhawks increased their winless streak to seven games in a row with a 5-3 loss to the Sharks in San Jose.
Chicago coach Joel Quenneville said he is trying to get a feel for where the veteran fits. Morrison has gone from being on the second line to the fourth to being a healthy scratch Friday. ''The first couple games you play with guys that put up big numbers,'' Morrison said recently. ''You don't score in the first two games you're with them, you start thinking you're the problem. But you can't get too hard on yourself. There's kind of ebbs and flows over the course of the year.''

Brendan Morrison has been shuffled throughout Chicago's lineup since his arrival.
He has played with the second, third and fourth line combinations. "At some point, it'd be nice to get some regular linemates, but you have to figure out where you fit in," Morrison said. "Really, I just need to play a bit. I haven't played a whole lot, even before I got dealt here. ... You get in a little better game shape, then hopefully that'll help things." He hasn't recorded a point in four games with the Blackhawks.

Brendan Morrison will return to Calgary for the first time since being traded to Chicago last week.
Morrison did not see the ice time in Calgary that he saw in his first game with the Blackhawks so the move should do wonders for his career, not to mention that the Blackhawks are a lot more likely to play in the post-season than the Flames. "It's always fun to play against your ex-teammates and your friends," Morrison said Thursday. "It's good that I get a chance to do that pretty early. I haven't seen any of them. I haven't seen anybody. I'll see them for a little bit (Friday), then it's time to move on." Morrison is playing with Marian Hossa and Patrick Sharp and will have a lot more fantasy value with the Blackhawks.

Brendan Morrison made his Blackhawks debut on Tuesday.
Morrison had no points and one shot on goal in 18:56 minutes of playing time as Vancouver earned a 3-2 overtime victory over Chicago. Incidentally, Daniel Sedin netted his 10th career overtime goal, which broke a franchise record previously held by Morrison.

There is a very good chance that Brendan Morrison will center the Blackhawks' second line and play alongside Marian Hossa.
He could do much worse. The acquisition of Morrison will lead to a shuffling of the Hawks' forward lines. Patrick Kane will now be firmly entrenched on the first line with Jonathan Toews. Dave Bolland will clearly be the team's third-line pivot. Patrick Sharp and Viktor Stalberg will round out Chicago's top two units. The winners in this new alignment are Kane and Morrison, while the losers are Bolland and Marcus Kruger.

The trade of Brendan Morrison to Chicago could be a huge boost for the veteran center.
The Blackhawks are in dire need of help down the middle and were so desperate earlier in the season that they moved Patrick Kane to center. Morrison was on his way out in Calgary as he played a season low 8:39 minutes on Tuesday so this is great news for him as he will likely start as their second line center. The Blackhawks face the Flames on Friday as they begin a nine game road trip with a visit to Western Canada. Morrison could have fantasy value, especially if he keeps the gig as a top six forward as Chicago has Jonathan Toews, Marian Hossa, Patrick Sharp, Patrick Kane and Viktor Stalberg as well. He had only 11 points in 28 games but is worth a shot in deeper leagues at this time.
