The trade of Brendan Morrison to Chicago could be a huge boost for the veteran center. The Blackhawks are in dire need of help down the middle and were so desperate earlier in the season that they moved Patrick Kane to center. Morrison was on his way out in Calgary as he played a season low 8:39 minutes on Tuesday so this is great news for him as he will likely start as their second line center. The Blackhawks face the Flames on Friday as they begin a nine game road trip with a visit to Western Canada. Morrison could have fantasy value, especially if he keeps the gig as a top six forward as Chicago has Jonathan Toews, Marian Hossa, Patrick Sharp, Patrick Kane and Viktor Stalberg as well. He had only 11 points in 28 games but is worth a shot in deeper leagues at this time.
