Brendan Morrison made his Blackhawks debut on Tuesday. Morrison had no points and one shot on goal in 18:56 minutes of playing time as Vancouver earned a 3-2 overtime victory over Chicago. Incidentally, Daniel Sedin netted his 10th career overtime goal, which broke a franchise record previously held by Morrison.
