Coburn will be out four weeks with what is believed to be a broken left foot, The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
The Flyers are calling Coburn's setback a "lower-body injury," but it is assumed he is dealing with some sort of left foot injury after blocking a shot with the appendage in Monday's game. Coburn will benefit from the NHL All-Star break that comes up later this month, but he will still be sidelined until sometime in February. Carlo Colaiacovo will get the first shot at replacing him in the lineup.

Coburn injured the same left foot that he broke earlier this season, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Coburn, who previously missed 12 games with a broken left foot suffered on opening night, took a shot off the same foot during Monday's win over the Lightning. He was unable to return to the contest, and he will be re-evaluated Tuesday.

Coburn exited Monday's game against the Lightening with a lower-body injury and will not return.
Coburn should be considered day-to-day as the Flyers haven't released any further information about the severity of his injury. If the 29-year-old is unable to play Wednesday against the Capitals, Carlo Colaiacov will likely be activated in place of Coburn.

Coburn (general soreness) will play Thursday against the Panthers, Bill Meltzer of NHL.com reports.
Coburn was in some pain after he was hit into the boards during Tuesday's loss to Tampa Bay, but was able to recover sufficiently in advance of Thursday's morning skate. Coach Craig Berube will stick with the same six defensemen Thursday that he used two nights earlier.

Coburn took a hard hit into the boards in Thursday's loss to the Lightning and could be dealing with some soreness, Tim Panaccio of CSN Philadelphia reports.
The injury occurred late in the third period, so it's tough to determine if it was something that would have been significant enough to knock him out for a larger chunk of the game had it occurred earlier. The Flyers should provide more word on his condition after Thursday's morning skate. If Coburn is forced to sit out Thursday's game against the Panthers, Michael Del Zotto would likely enter the lineup in his stead.

Coburn registered a goal and assist in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Blue Jackets.
The points were the first of the season for Coburn, who has only appeared in seven contests due to a previous bout with a long-term foot injury. Coburn isn't much of an offensive threat, but his typically dependable play in his own zone will usually allow him to see above 20 minutes of ice time on a given night.

Coburn (foot) will be activated from injured reserve and play Saturday against the Avalanche, Rob Parent of the Delaware County Times reports.
Coburn had been expected to return to the lineup Saturday all along, but coach Craig Berube just wanted to check the blueliner out during morning skate before signing off on his return. After enduring no setbacks during the session, Coburn will rejoin the lineup for the first time since the Oct. 8 season opener, with Carlo Colaiacovo heading to the press box.

Flyers coach Craig Berube will decide after morning skate whether Coburn (foot) will return to the lineup Saturday against Colorado, Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
While Coburn said he expects to play, Berube has yet to sign off on his return from the left foot injury. Berube admitted that Coburn has looked spry in practice, but the Flyers' defense has played well of late, and if Coburn sits, he would be afforded another six days of rest before the team's next game. If Coburn does end up getting the green light, Carlo Colaiacovo will likely be removed from the lineup.

Coburn (lower body) is expected to return to the lineup Saturday against the Avalanche, Sam Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Coburn was initially projected to be out for four weeks after suffering a setback in late October, but a Saturday return would mean the defenseman missed only two weeks of action. His return would likely bump Carlo Colaiacovo from the Flyers' regular lineup.

GM Ron Hextall said Coburn (lower body) is making progress and will beat his projected four-week recovery timetable, Sam Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
The Flyers haven't officially established a new timetable for Coburn, but the report speculates that the defenseman may be less than two weeks away from a return. Injuries have hit the Flyers hard on the blue line in the early stages of the season, so an early return from a top-four contributor like Coburn would certainly be a welcome development.
