EDGE Analysis
He helped set up Ondrej Palat for the first two goals of the evening, then Palat returned the favor on the 25-year-old's second-period tally. Point has been on fire since returning to the lineup after Christmas, racking up four goals and eight points in five games, and on the season he's up to 11 goals and 21 points in 21 contests.

Point registered an assist and two shots on goal in Friday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
Point set up Ross Colton's game-tying goal at 17:31 of the second period. The 25-year-old Point has racked up three goals and two assists in three games since he returned from an upper-body injury. The Alberta native has 10 goals, eight helpers, 49 shots on net and a plus-2 rating in 19 contests. Playing in a top-line role for a strong offense will keep Point as an attractive player for fantasy managers to deploy with confidence.

Point (upper body) scored two goals and an assist while adding six shots and a plus-3 rating in Tuesday's 5-4 overtime win over the Canadiens.
EDGE Analysis
Point wasted little time before making an impact in his first action since Nov. 20, tying the score at a goal apiece 11:38 into the first period before giving the Lightning the lead just 2:32 later with his second goal of the game. His most important point of the night was Point's third-period helper on Corey Perry's goal, which tied the score at four with 20 seconds remaining in regulation. Point has nine goals and 16 points in 17 games played this season, so he should be an automatic activation now that he's back to full health.

Point (upper body) will be activated off injured reserve and return to the lineup for Tuesday's matchup with Montreal, Joe Smith of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Point has been sidelined since Nov. 20 with an upper-body injury, but he isn't expected to be eased in against the Canadiens, as he's expected to skate on Tampa Bay's second line and top power-play unit versus Montreal. The 25-year-old center picked up seven goals and 13 points in 16 games before suffering his upper-body injury.

Point (upper body) could be an option versus Montreal on Tuesday, per Joe Smith of The Athletic.
EDGE Analysis
The fact that Point was back on the No. 1 power-play at practice, per Bryan Burns of the Lightning's official site, is a good indication the center will return to action sooner rather than later. Still, the Lightning will need to activate the 25-year-old Calgary native off injured reserve in order to reinsert him into the lineup. Point racked up seven goals and six assists in the first 16 games of the season before suffering his upper-body injury and will no doubt be eager to pick up where he left off.

Point (upper body) will look to make his return to action closer to New Year's Eve, Joe Smith of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Point -- who was on the ice for Monday's practice session -- has already missed the club's last 11 contests and now figures to be on the sidelines for at least another six. Once given the all-clear, the 25-year-old Calgary native should return to being a top-end fantasy target considering he has racked up 13 points in 16 games this year.

Point (upper body) has been designated for injured reserve, per the NHL media site.
EDGE Analysis
With Point expected to miss at least a month, his placement on injured reserve certainly shouldn't come as a surprise. In his stead, Steven Stamkos will shift to the center position on the first line while Anthony Cirelli anchors the second trio. Once cleared to play, Point figure to return to being a top-end fantasy target considering he has racked up 13 points in 16 games this year.

Point (upper body) is expected to miss the next 4-6 weeks.
EDGE Analysis
Point's current timeline would hold him out until around Christmas at the earliest. The 25-year-old had seven goals and 13 points through 16 games before suffering his injury. Steven Stamkos and Anthony Cirelli will continue to handle the top-six center duties in his absence.

Point (upper body) is out indefinitely and is week-to-week, Bryan Burns of the Lightning's official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Point suffered the injury Saturday against the Devils, and it appears it's serious enough to keep him out for multiple games. He'll miss contests Tuesday against the Flyers and Friday versus Seattle, at a minimum, but it's unclear after that how long the 25-year-old might need to get back to game action.

Point isn't playing Sunday against Minnesota due to an upper-body injury, Bryan Burns of the Lightning's official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Point hurt himself when he crashed hard into the boards Saturday against New Jersey. The 25-year-old should be considered day-to-day until further notice, and Alex Barre-Boulet figures to slot into the lineup for however long Point is sidelined.
