Point (upper body) will be activated off injured reserve and return to the lineup for Tuesday's matchup with Montreal, Joe Smith of The Athletic reports.

Point has been sidelined since Nov. 20 with an upper-body injury, but he isn't expected to be eased in against the Canadiens, as he's expected to skate on Tampa Bay's second line and top power-play unit versus Montreal. The 25-year-old center picked up seven goals and 13 points in 16 games before suffering his upper-body injury.
