Point (upper body) could be an option versus Montreal on Tuesday, per Joe Smith of The Athletic.
EDGE Analysis
The fact that Point was back on the No. 1 power-play at practice, per Bryan Burns of the Lightning's official site, is a good indication the center will return to action sooner rather than later. Still, the Lightning will need to activate the 25-year-old Calgary native off injured reserve in order to reinsert him into the lineup. Point racked up seven goals and six assists in the first 16 games of the season before suffering his upper-body injury and will no doubt be eager to pick up where he left off.
