The 28-year-old is currently stuck in a four-game point drought, but would certainly be motivated to make an impact if he suits up. If the center can't give it a go, the team will need to either recall a player from AHL Utica or play with seven defensemen and 11 forwards as Bo Horvat (leg) has already been ruled out.
