Larsson registered an assist in Thursday's loss to the Capitals. Larsson gained momentum as a waiver-wire pickup in late February after picking up five assists in a five-game stretch, but he's predictably fallen off that pace. Through 11 March games, Larsson has provided a goal and three helpers -- serviceable production from the blue line, but nothing that warrants immediate action on the part of fantasy owners in most leagues.

Larsson registered an assist in his 22:14 of action in Friday's loss to the Bruins. Larsson's production as an assist man has taken off since the start of January, with 14 of his 16 helpers on the season coming just in the last two months. He's been especially productive in that capacity of late, recording five assists in his last five games alone. The 22-year-old looks like he's starting to realize some of that potential that made him the No. 4 overall pick in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.

Larsson registered three assists in Friday's win over Vancouver. The points were just Larsson's first in six games, as he's been held off the scoresheet in eight of his last 10 outings. With 15 points in 40 games on the season, the 22-year-old is emerging as a fantasy weapon. While he's been inconsistent, the youngster is averaging 19:41 of ice time and is playing in just his second full NHL season.

Larsson picked up two assists in Friday's win over the Leafs. While it was only Larsson's first multi-point outing of the season, he now has one goal and eight points in his last 12 games. Averaging 19:15 of ice time, the 22-year-old is a capable offensive producer who should be looked at in deeper formats.

Larsson notched his team's only goal in Wednesday's 2-1 shootout win over the Maple Leafs. Larsson was able to tie the score at one with under three minutes to play in the third, eventually leading to the Devils prevailing in a shootout. It was just the blueliner's second tally of the season, and he now has 10 points in 30 games.

Larsson picked up an assist, two PIM and went plus-2 in Monday's win over the Sharks. Larsson finished the night second on the team in ice time (23:42), an encouraging trend for a defenseman who served primarily as a healthy scratch in the early stages of the season. Since returning from a bout with the mumps around Christmastime, Larsson has been an asset on both ends of the ice for the Devils. He's picked up assists in five of his last seven games, while providing respectable hit and block totals.

Larsson was credited with an assist in Friday's loss against the Islanders. Larsson has settled into a regular role since returning from the mumps in late December, and he's been delivering strong returns for the Devils. Over his last four games, he's collected three assists while racking up eight hits and 14 blocks -- precisely the kind of two-way production the Devils were banking on when they drafted him fourth overall in 2011. It's probably a prudent move to just keep an eye on him from afar for now, but if the offensive production continues over the next handful of games, don't hesitate to scoop him up.

Larsson is expected to return to the lineup Tuesday against the Hurricanes, Rich Chere of the Star-Ledger reports. Larsson was activated from injured reserve Saturday, but didn't return to the lineup. He will, however, finally return to the ice Tuesday, and will likely be in either the second or third defensive pairing.

The Devils recalled Larsson (illness) from his conditioning assignment at AHL Albany and formally activated him from injured reserve Saturday. Larsson has been over the mumps for a few days now, but because he hadn't played since the first week of December, the Devils wanted him to get in a game in the minors before rejoining the big club. After coming out of Friday's game with Albany no worse for the wear, he'll likely suit up for the Devils on Saturday as a member of the second or third pairing.

Larsson (mumps) was assigned to AHL Albany on Thursday for a conditioning assignment, Tom Gulitti of The Record reports. Larsson is no longer feeling the effects of the mumps, but the Devils want him to get a game under his belt in the minors on Friday before they feel comfortable activating him. Look for him to return to New Jersey once the weekend comes to a close.
