Trubisky completed 16 of 29 passes for 220 yards and two touchdowns while adding 51 yards on six rushing attempts in Sunday's 24-10 win over the Jets.

Trubisky benefited from a perfect play call on his first touchdown, hitting Tarik Cohen on a screen out of the backfield against an all-out blitz. Cohen did the rest, turning the play into a 70-yard touchdown to open the scoring. The quarterback didn't make many other significant plays with his arm, though he did find Anthony Miller for a four-yard touchdown in the third quarter. Trubisky also continues to be a factor with his legs, having rushed for at least 47 yards in four consecutive games heading into a Week 9 trip to Buffalo.

Trubisky completed 26-of-50 passes for 333 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions while adding 81 yards and a touchdown on the ground in Sunday's loss to the Patriots.

Although the fantasy numbers were outstanding Trubisky was completely ineffective throwing outside the hashmarks due to many inaccurate throws. Fortunately, the Bears were playing from behind, so he had to throw the ball 50 times, and he was able to connect regularly with Trey Burton and Tarik Cohen in the middle of the field to help him post big numbers. In addition, there were often huge openings in the middle of the field that allowed Trubisky to have the biggest rushing performance of his career. With at least 316 passing yards, 47 rushing yards and three total touchdowns in each of his last three games, he'll continue to be a strong weekly fantasy option.

Trubisky completed 22 of 31 passes for 316 yards, three touchdowns and an interception while rushing eight times for 47 yards in Sunday's 31-28 overtime loss to Miami.

EDGE Analysis

Trubisky failed to lead the offense to any points in the first half, but he turned things around after halftime. He capped the Bears' first possession of the second half with a nine-yard touchdown pass to Trey Burton and added a 12-yard score to Allen Robinson on his very next throw. Trubisky also had a would-be fourth-quarter touchdown called back on a penalty before getting picked off in the end zone on the very next play. He bounced back with a 29-yard touchdown to Anthony Miller, but the mistake-prone Bears found a way to blow their seven-point lead 16 seconds later before ultimately falling in overtime. This up-and-down performance confirms that last week's six-touchdown performance was likely an aberration, so plan accordingly in Week 7 against New England.

Trubisky completed 19 of 26 passes for 354 yards with six touchdowns and no interceptions in the Bears' 48-10 win over the Buccaneers on Sunday. He also rushed three times for 53 yards.

It's quite possible the second-year quarterback will one day look back on this jaw-dropping effort as a turning point, as he turned in a completely unexpected performance. Trubisky connected with Tarik Cohen, Taylor Gabriel (twice), Trey Burton, Allen Robinson and Joshua Bellamy for scores, racking up five of his six touchdowns in a spectacular first half. After primarily operating in the short- and mid-range passing window for the first three games, Trubisky averaged a whopping 13.6 yards per attempt Sunday, connecting on four passes of more than 20 yards. Trubisky will look to put together some type of reasonable encore when he faces the Dolphins following a Week 5 bye.

Trubisky completed 22-of 35 passes for 220 yards and one interception in Sunday's 16-14 victory over the Cardinals.

EDGE Analysis

The Bears fell behind by 14 points early, forcing Trubisky to have to throw the ball often, but he consistently was off-target when throwing downfield passes. Once the defense toughened up, helping Chicago get back into the contest, they were able to lean upon their rushing attack to get the victory, relegating the quarterback to game-manager duties. Through three games, he's averaging fewer than 200 passing yards and less than one touchdown, making him a low-upside fantasy option. He'll be facing the Buccaneers in Week 4.

Trubisky completed 25 of 34 passes for 200 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions in Monday night's 24-17 win over the Seahawks. He also rushed five times for 24 yards.

EDGE Analysis

Trubisky got off to another strong start, throwing a touchdown via a shuffle pass on Chicago's first offensive drive. After that, the second-year pro tossed a pair of picks prior to halftime, but responded with a 10-yard touchdown while rolling to his weaker left side during the fourth quarter. Thanks to that score, Trubisky finally put together his first multi-touchdown performance through the air. Although he'll be disappointed by his two turnovers, the 24-year-old did enough to get the Bears their first victory of this season.

Trubisky won't play in Saturday's preseason matchup with the Chiefs, Adam Hoge of WGN Radio 720 AM Chicago reports.

EDGE Analysis

Trubisky is being rested, along with many of the Bears' starters, for Saturday's game. The team effectively has five preseason games since they played in the Hall of Fame game and head coach Matt Nagy is pleased enough with how the team has looked in practice that he won't risk injury to many key players. Look for Chase Daniel to draw the start in place of Trubisky.

Trubisky completed nine of 14 passes for 90 yards with a touchdown along with an interception Saturday against the Broncos.

EDGE Analysis

Trubisky connected four times with Trey Burton, resulting in 45 yards and a score, and it appeared that the coaching staff made that connection a focus in the contest. On his interception, the quarterback appeared frustrated that Tarik Cohen didn't flatten out his route which allowed the defensive back to step in front of Cohen to pick off the pass. In fantasy drafts, it'll only take a low investment to select him as a backup with potential for upside.

Trubisky completed two of four passes for four yards during Thursday's 30-27 loss to Cincinnati.

EDGE Analysis

Fans looking forward to seeing Trubisky in Matt Nagy's new scheme didn't get much more than a peek. The sophomore passer tossed a short pass to new tight end Trey Burton, had a third-down scramble called back for holding, and was out after two unproductive series. Being guided by innovative offensive minds like Nagy and offensive coordinator Mark Helfrich should, in theory, be a return to more familiar territory for Trubisky, who worked in a spread-out system in North Carolina. Reports from camp and Thursday's preseason opener indicate that there's still some adjustment needed for the young quarterback.

EDGE Analysis

Trubisky was among a cadre of Bears that were held out of the Hall of Fame Game, but coach Matt Nagy will allow the quarterback to earn his first exhibition action of 2018 this week. While Trubisky's reps are to be determined, it wouldn't surprise if he's limited to one or two series before giving way to Chase Daniel and Tyler Bray under center.
