Trubisky (shoulder) remains hopeful to suit up in the Bears' Week 13 game against the Giants but it's uncertain if he'll be available for that contest, a source told Adam Schefter of ESPN.
EDGE Analysis
Trubisky suffered an AC joint sprain in his throwing shoulder coming out of the Bears' Week 11 win over the Vikings, prompting the team to hold him out of the Thanksgiving Day victory over the Lions. Prior reports suggested that if the Bears had played on Sunday rather than Thursday in Week 12 that Trubisky would have been ready to play, but Schefter's report suggests the second-year signal-caller isn't progressing from the injury was quickly as anticipated. The Bears will reassess Trubisky's condition when they reconvene for their next official practice Wednesday, at which point more clarity on his outlook for the Dec. 2 game against New York should be known.

Trubisky (shoulder) is inactive for Thursday's game at Detroit, Patrick Finley of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Bears, namely coach Matt Nagy, expressed optimism Trubisky would be able suit up early in the week, but the tone surrounding the quarterback's availability changed when he woke up Wednesday with less range of motion in his right throwing shoulder than expected, per Adam Schefter of ESPN. The development caused Trubisky to be listed as doubtful for this contest, paving the way for Chase Daniel to start for the first time since 2014. With Trubisky officially in street clothes Thursday, Tyler Bray will serve as Daniel's direct backup.

Trubisky (shoulder), who is listed as doubtful for Thursday's game against the Lions, will cede starting duties to Chase Daniel this week, a source told Adam Schefter of ESPN.
EDGE Analysis
The Bears haven't officially ruled Trubisky out for the contest while he contends with a AC joint sprain in his throwing shoulder, so the possibility remains that he could dress as the backup to Daniel. It seems more likely than not that he'll be included among the team's inactives, however, especially after the Bears called up Tyler Bray from the practice squad Wednesday to provide additional depth at quarterback. While Trubisky is in line to miss his first game of the season, the Bears appear confident that his injury won't put him at much risk of further absences. The expectation remains that Trubisky will be back under center in the Bears' subsequent game Dec. 2 against the Giants.

Trubisky (shoulder), who is listed as doubtful for Thursday's game against the Lions, is dealing with an AC joint sprain, a source tells Adam Schefter of ESPN.
EDGE Analysis
According to Schefter, Trubisky woke up sore Wednesday morning and felt less movement in his shoulder than expected. That prompted the Bears to hold him out of Wednesday's walk-through session, resulting in Trubisky having logged no on-field activity leading up to Thanksgiving Day. With their young signal-caller's long-term health in mind, the Bears appear set to hold Trubisky out Thursday, which would allow backup Chase Daniel to make his third career start. Fortunately, Trubisky doesn't look to be at much risk of missing time beyond the Week 12 contest, as Schefter notes that the Bears believe the 24-year-old would have been ready to go if the team had been playing Sunday rather than Thursday. It's thus recommended that those who have been consistently relying on Trubisky in weekly formats this season continue holding him, as there's a good chance he'll suit up in the Bears' subsequent contest Dec. 2 against the Giants.

The Bears are officially listed Trubisky as doubtful for Thursday's game against the Lions, Kevin Fishbain of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Though initial reports suggested the Bears were optimistic Trubisky would recover from the right shoulder injury he sustained in Sunday's win over the Vikings to start on a short week, the quarterback's outlook took a turn for the worse after he failed to practice Tuesday. Rather than potentially expose Trubisky to a more significant setback by allowing him to play through the injury on Thanksgiving Day, it appears the Bears are now leaning toward holding him out for the first time all season. That would pave the way for Chase Daniel to make his third NFL start as part of what will likely be a run-heavy game plan. It's expected the Bears will promote Tyler Bray from the practice squad to provide additional depth behind Daniel with Trubisky likely to be included among the team's inactives.

Coach Matt Nagy said he doesn't expect Trubisky (shoulder) to practice Tuesday but is "cautiously optimistic" the quarterback will be able to start Thursday's game against the Lions, Kevin Fishbain of The Athletic reports. "I can't make any promises. I hope [Trubisky plays Thursday] but it's a day-to-day thing for us," Nagy said. "He wants to play, I know that. We've gotta make sure in these situations we're doing the right thing."
EDGE Analysis
Though Trubisky didn't miss out on any snaps during the Bears' Week 11 win over the Vikings, Nagy confirmed the signal-caller was hurting after taking a late hit to his throwing shoulder from safety Harrison Smith in the fourth quarter, per Larry Mayer of the Bears' official site. According to Jeff Dickerson of ESPN.com, Nagy relayed the team is confident Trubisky's shoulder injury isn't a long-term concern and won't necessitate surgery, but contending with the issue with a short turnaround between games is a less-than-ideal scenario for the 24-year-old. The Bears will presumably see how Trubisky is feeling after Wednesday's practice before rendering a verdict on his availability for Thanksgiving Day.

The Bears are optimistic that Trubisky (shoulder) will be available for Thursday's game against the Lions, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Trubisky was labeled a non-participant on the Bears' estimated practice report Monday due to the right shoulder injury, which he likely picked up in Sunday's 25-20 win over the Vikings. The second-year signal-caller wasn't forced to miss any action due to the issue and finished with 165 passing yards and a touchdown to go with 43 yards on the ground. It's possible the Bears are just managing Trubisky's reps carefully due to the quick turnaround between games, but he'll still probably need to practice in some capacity Tuesday or Wednesday to avoid an injury designation heading into Thanksgiving Day.

Trubisky (right shoulder) was listed as a non-participant on the Bears' estimated injury report Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Led by Trubisky, the Bears have put together a four-game winning streak, which was capped by Sunday night's 25-20 win against the Vikings. During that stretch, he's completed 64.5 percent of his passes for 875 yards, seven touchdowns and three interceptions while rushing 20 times for 118 yards and another TD. While he wouldn't have participated if the Bears held a session Monday, Trubisky will have two more chances to prove that his right throwing shoulder is a non-issue in advance of Thursday's visit to Detroit.

Trubisky completed 23 of 30 passes for 355 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions in the Bears' 34-22 win over the Lions on Sunday. He also rushed three times for 18 yards and another score.
EDGE Analysis
Trubisky had a direct hand in all four Chicago touchdowns, connecting with Allen Robinson for a pair of scores and rookie Anthony Miller for a third. He also scampered in from four yards out in the second quarter for his third rushing score this season. The yardage total was also a welcome spike and matched Trubisky's numbers through the air from the prior two games combined. Despite talk about the 24-year-old still having limitations as a passer he now owns a sparkling 19:7 TD:INT and has four 300-yard games on his 2018 ledger thus far. He'll look to continue his strong play against the Vikings in Week 11.

Trubisky completed 12 of 20 passes for 135 yards, a touchdown and an interception during Sunday's 41-9 win over Buffalo. He had a six-yard run during the game.
EDGE Analysis
Trubisky didn't have to do much against a tough Bills defense as his defense and running game scored four touchdowns on three Buffalo turnovers in the second quarter. He finally got in on the action in the games final minutes, slinging a quick out to tight end Trey Burton for a two-yard touchdown. The second-year player has been slowed lately, completing just 54.5 percent of his passes over the past three games against some pass defenses. Next Sunday should offer a reprieve against division rival Lions, owners of the second worst opponent passer rating in the league.
