Trubisky completed 10-of-15 passes for 128 yards and a touchdown while adding an additional nine rushing yards in Sunday's win against the Titans.
EDGE Analysis
Trubisky started the second half and after overthrowing two passes on the first drive, he was lucky to have a sure interception dropped by a defender on the ensuing drive. However, he turned things around quickly after that, as he connected with rookie Tanner Gentry on a 45-yard score down the left sideline. Trubisky also showed excellent pocket poise, by evading pressure on numerous occasions. Unless the team makes an announcement to the contrary, Mike Glennon is still expected to be the opening day starter.

Trubisky is expected to start the second half of Sunday's preseason game at Tennessee with the first-team offense, Patrick Finley of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Under normal circumstances, Trubisky's arrival on the field wouldn't be a surprise in preseason Week 3, but the rookie actually worked with the first-teamers in practice for the first time Wednesday. After the session, head coach John Fox stated there's been "no change" to the quarterback depth chart, with Mike Glennon still in the top spot, per Adam Jahns of the Chicago Sun-Times. Instead, the Bears planned all along to work Trubisky into the first-team mix. The pseudo-promotion is warranted, as he's thoroughly outplayed Glennon to the tune of 24-for-33 passing for 226 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in two preseason appearances.

Trubisky completed six of eight passes for 60 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's victory against the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
The Chicago coaching staff continued to use their rookie quarterback on rollouts to try to keep him comfortable as he acclimates to NFL defenses. Trubisky took his only sack on a third-down play in which he was stationed in the pocket. For him to reach his full potential, he'll need to show the consistent ability to work from the pocket on a regular basis. Overall, he's having an excellent preseason, and it's just a matter of time until he takes over as the starting quarterback.

Trubisky completed 18 of 25 passes for 166 yards and a touchdown with a 103.1 quarterback run during Thursday's preseason opener against Denver.
EDGE Analysis
After making just 13 collegiate starts, Trubisky is expected to spend the season fine-tuning his craft as Mike Glennon's backup. Trubisky is considered the quarterback of the future, and with the Bears in a clear rebuild, the 2017 No. 2 overall selection could land behind center at some point this year. However, even with Thursday's encouraging showing in mind, Trubisky's unlikely to be a reliable fantasy asset this season.

Trubisky is expected to start the season on the bench, as general manager Ryan Pace named Mike Glennon the Bears starting quarterback, Brad Biggs on Twitter reports.
EDGE Analysis
This news was expected, as Trubisky made 13 collegiate starts and is seen as a player who'll need some development before eventually taking over the role he was drafted for. Although he doesn't open the season as the lead option, it's certainly possible that if Glennon and/or the Bears struggle significantly, the organization will speed along his development by getting him on the field this year. For now, he's merely a player to target in dynasty leagues.

Trubisky signed a four-year, fully guaranteed contract worth approximately $29 million, Rich Campbell of the Chicago Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Trubisky's rookie deal reportedly includes a signing bonus of around $19 million. The second overall pick of this year's draft, Trubisky will now have no potential distraction as the Bears prepare for training camp, as he's finally under contract with the team. Despite the hefty investment in him, however, Trubisky is slated to back up veteran Mike Glennon during his rookie season, and isn't planned to start unless an injury or Glennon's poor performance requires a change.

Trubisky, who is yet to sign his rookie contract, said he'll report for training camp when it begins July 26, Patrick Finley of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Trubisky, the second overall pick of this year's draft, is still the subject of negotiations between the Bears and his representatives, but the North Carolina product insists he'll be on the field for the first day of practice regardless of whether he's signed a deal by that point. Furthermore, Trubisky said his agents aren't worried about getting a contract ironed out, as they have a great relationship with Chicago's front office. News that the 22-year-old isn't a hold out threat is obviously encouraging, as Trubisky is anticipated to need some seasoning before he's thrown into the fold. In fact, on that front, the rookie recently voiced his support of Mike Glennon being the Bears' starting quarterback until he's ready.

Trubisky told SiriusXM NFL Radio that he supports Mike Glennon as the Bears' starting quarterback, NFL.com's Marc Sessler reports. "Mike's the starter and I'm behind him all the way," Trubisky said.
EDGE Analysis
Trubisky was notably selected second overall in this year's draft after the Bears traded a considerable amount of assets to move up just one pick. While that surely projects him as the team's starter in the long run, Chicago also signed Glennon to a three-year, $45 million contract this offseason. Given Glennon's experience, which includes 18 career starts and 30 touchdowns versus 15 interceptions, as well as the investment the Bears made in him, the 27-year-old is slated to start this season, allowing Trubisky to be groomed on the sidelines. After a small college sample size, that figures to suit Trubisky well, and the rookie is taking the right approach by supporting his veteran, but it wouldn't be surprising if the North Carolina product ultimately takes Glennon's job should he falter during the regular season.
