Trubisky (shoulder) is expected to miss Sunday's game against the Raiders but could return to action after Chicago's Week 6 bye, Rich Campbell of the Chicago Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Trubisky is dealing with a dislocation and slight labrum tear in his (left) non-throwing shoulder, but he'll be able to avoid surgery for both injuries. As such, Trubisky won't be in line for an extended absence, though the Bears appear set to roll with Chase Daniel under center Sunday in London. Coach Matt Nagy said Wednesday that Trubisky will be considered day-to-day after the bye week, setting the stage for a possible Week 7 return against the Saints if his recovery proceeds as anticipated.

A MRI revealed that Trubisky suffered a dislocated (non-throwing) left shoulder Sunday against the Vikings, along with a slight labrum tear, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Additionally, the QB doesn't need surgery and should he back "sooner rather than later," per the report. While Trubisky will travel with the Bears to London this week, he's unlikely to play Sunday against the Raiders, which sets the stage for Chase Daniel to be the team's Week 5 starter at QB.

Trubisky (shoulder) is not expected to be available Week 5 against the Raiders in London, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Trubisky was forced out of Sunday's 16-6 divisional win over Minnesota due to a left shoulder injury, for which he's undergoing medical tests Monday. While a timetable for the third-year quarterback's recovery still remains unclear, it appears possible that he could be facing a multi-week absence. In any case, Chase Daniel is locked in for at least one more start versus Oakland.

Coach Matt Nagy said after Sunday's win over the Vikings that he doesn't believe Trubisky's shoulder injury is season-ending, Adam Hoge of WGN Radio reports.
EDGE Analysis
Trubisky exited in the first quarter with the shoulder injury. Backup Chase Daniel came in and threw for 195 yards and a touchdown, while Chicago's defense dominated en route to a 16-6 win. While no timetable has been established for Trubisky's injury, reading between the lines of Nagy's comments suggests the starting quarterback could be staring at a multi-week absence.

Trubisky suffered a left shoulder injury during Sunday's game against the Vikings and won't return.
EDGE Analysis
Trubisky got injured on a play that ultimately didn't count, as it was nullified by a defensive penalty on the Vikings. The Bears have yet to release the precise injury, but Trubisky will yield QB duties to backup Chase Daniel for the rest of the afternoon.

Trubisky went to the locker room during the first quarter of Sunday's contest versus the Vikings, Arif Hasan of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Trubisky got flushed to his left and coughed up the ball to the Vikings at the end of the play, but the turnover was nullified by a defensive penalty. The nature of his injury hasn't been released, but the Bears sent in Chase Daniel to replace Trubisky.

Trubisky completed 25 of 31 passes for 231 yards, three touchdowns and an interception in Monday night's 31-15 win over the Redskins.
EDGE Analysis
Trubisky left some completions out there, but was still vastly improved after an uninspiring first two games of the season. He found Taylor Gabriel from three yards for his first touchdown of the campaign, then returned to Gabriel for two more scores, all during the second quarter. That included a superb 36-yard connection in the final minute before halftime, showcasing his ability to make plays on the run. Although a lousy fourth-quarter interception from the Redskins' six-yard line offered a sour note toward the end, Trubisky can still be relatively pleased with his bounce-back performance in Week 3.

Trubisky completed 16 of 27 passes for 120 yards while adding eight yards on the ground in Sunday's 16-14 victory over the Broncos.
EDGE Analysis
After throwing the ball way too much in a Week 1 loss, a low-scoring contest allowed Trubisky to throw the ball very infrequently. And then once the Bears took the lead late in the third quarter, the team turned even more run heavy than it was previously. Aside from games in which Chicago will be forced into a shootout or playing from behind, he's looking like a fantasy backup with moderate upside.

Trubisky completed 26 of 45 passes for 228 yards with no touchdowns and one interception in the Bears' 10-3 loss to the Packers on Thursday. He also rushed three times for 11 yards.
EDGE Analysis
The final line comes off as somewhat serviceable, but it belies the disjointed nature of Trubisky's performance for the majority of the contest. The early-game playcalling did the third-year signal caller no favors, either, with coach Matt Nagy dialing up multiple gadget plays that effectively prevented the passing game from getting into any sort of rhythm. However, there was plenty of blame to place squarely on Trubisky's shoulders, as he was frequently inaccurate and often hesitant in the pocket. The mobile 25-year-old failed to escape pressure on multiple occasions as well, as he was downed on five occasions overall. Trubisky ultimately capped off his disappointing night by throwing an end-zone interception just before the two-minute warning to short-circuit a 13-play, 59-yard would-be game-tying drive and then taking a sack on 4th down at his own five-yard line with 1:02 remaining. A disaster of an opening performance now behind him, Trubisky will look to dust himself off and bounce back in a tough road assignment versus the Broncos a week from Sunday.

Trubisky isn't expected to play in Friday's preseason contest against the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Trubisky opened the preseason Thursday, Aug. 8 with three offensive snaps, all of them handoffs. While he wants to get in more in-game reps before the regular season, coach Matt Nagy may err on the side of caution and hold him out for the two exhibitions games to come. If Trubisky doesn't get another chance to suit up this month, Chase Daniel and Tyler Bray will direct the Bears offense.
