Matt Schaub completed 11-of-15 passes for 242 yards and two touchdowns against the Bucs in Week 10. The Texans are more than happy to win with Schaub throwing just 15 times. His 16.1 yards per attempt actually surpassed Carson Palmer's 14.95 average against the Chargers thanks to an 80-yard score to Jacoby Jones on a play action fake and a 78-yard touchdown on a dumpoff to Arian Foster. Now just a QB2 in a run-dominant offense, Schaub gets an underrated Jaguars defense after the Week 11 bye.

Matt Schaub completed 14-of-23 passes for 119 yards with no touchdowns and one interception in Sunday's easy win over the Browns. Schaub salvaged his fantasy day with a 2-yard touchdown run on a designed quarterback draw in the first quarter. Other than that, he wasn't needed. The Texans jumped out to a 24-3 lead behind their running game, which tallied 261 total yards and a 6.5 yards per carry average. The Texans figure to take a similarly run-heavy approach against the Bucs next week.

Matt Schaub completed 16-of-30 passes for 225 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions in Sunday's win over the Jaguars. Schaub also ran for a rare touchdown as the middle of the Jags' defense opened up on a goal-line play in the first quarter. Even without Andre Johnson (hamstring), Schaub has thrown for at least 220 yards and a touchdown in four straight games. Halfway through the season, he's on pace for 4,236 passing yards, 26 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. He's a good bet to sustain that low-end QB1 pace and will have more upside once Johnson returns.

Matt Schaub completed 18-of-23 passes for 296 yards and two touchdowns against the Titans in Week 7. Coach Gary Kubiak loves to use play-action, and Schaub came through with a 78-yard catch-and-run to Arian Foster off a bootleg call. Schaub also connected with Joel Dreessen on a stick route for a 10-yard score. The Texans took the air out of the ball in the second half after jumping out to a 27-0 lead. Schaub will be a borderline QB1 against the Jaguars in Week 8.

Matt Schaub (chest/shoulder) practiced fully on Friday and will start Sunday's game against the Titans. "He's fine. He's fine," said coach Gary Kubiak after the practice. "He did a little bit Wednesday, pretty close to everything yesterday and took it all today. So there's nothing different about his week. He's alright."

Matt Schaub (chest, shoulder) was upgraded to full participation in Thursday's practice. Schaub will start Sunday's game against a revitalized Titans secondary allowing the 21st-most points to opposing fantasy quarterbacks. Rotoworld ranks Schaub as the No. 10 fantasy QB play for Week 7.

Matt Schaub (chest, shoulder) was limited in Texans practice Wednesday. Schaub remains on track to start Sunday's game against the Titans. Ideally a fantasy reserve, he's topped 230 passing yards in just 2-of-6 games this season.

Texans coach Gary Kubiak insists Matt Schaub is "fine" after emerging from Sunday's loss in need of an MRI. The MRI apparently didn't reveal any damage. "Matt's just beat up," Kubiak said. "He got a chest bruise and is just really banged up, but he's fine." Schaub figures to miss more practice this week after being held out last week with a lingering right (throwing) shoulder injury. The Texans head to Tennessee in Week 7, and Schaub is fully expected to be in the starting lineup.

Matt Schaub (shoulder) was upgraded to full practice Friday and will start in Week 6 against the Ravens. ESPN's Adam Schefter reported this week that Schaub's right shoulder injury has been a lingering issue, but he's learned to play through it. It clearly got dinged, perhaps aggravated, in last week's loss to the Raiders. Schaub should be O.K. for Week 6, but he's not a recommended fantasy play at Baltimore.
