Sanchez completed 14 of 23 passes for 156 yards and an interception after stepping in for the injured Sam Bradford in Sunday's game against the Dolphins. He also gained four yards on a pair of carries.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran made his season debut after Bradford left the game with a shoulder injury and a possible concussion. Unfortunately, Sanchez's lone interception came in the end zone as the Eagles attempted to take the lead in what was ultimately a one-point loss. X-rays on Bradford's shoulder came back negative, but it remains to be seen how quickly he can rebound from his head injury. Philadelphia will host the Buccaneers in Week 11, and Sanchez will likely be at the helm if Bradford is unable to go.

Sanchez completed 13 of 19 passes for 150 yards and two touchdowns in the Saturday's 39-26 win over the Packers.
EDGE Analysis
After Sam Bradford's impressive performance against Green Bay, the supposed "quarterback competition" is officially over in Philadelphia. Sanchez will be the Eagles' backup gunslinger, but he proved Saturday that he's still a capable passer. He'll only be valuable to fantasy owners in the event of an injury to Bradford, but Sanchez has shown that he can operate in Chip Kelly's quarterback-friendly offense and put up favorable stats.

Sanchez, who expects to compete with Sam Bradford for the starting job, said his surgically-repaired shoulder feels much stronger this year, ESPN.com reports.
Another year removed from shoulder surgery, with a full season in Chip Kelly's offense under his belt, Sanchez expects to improve in 2015. Of course, he'll need to get on the field to prove it, and while Kelly said there will be an open competition, the Eagles have invested far more resources in Sam Bradford (knee). Working in Sanchez's favor, Bradford is still unable to practice with the team, and there have even been reports suggesting that the former Ram isn't a lock to be ready for Week 1.

Sanchez indicates that he believes that there will be an open competition between him and Sam Bradford for the Eagles' top QB job this offseason, csnphilly.com reports.
With the NFL draft now in the books and Marcus Mariota a member of the Titans, the focus in Philly is now on the team's veteran options at QB. While the general assumption is that Bradford will open the season as the team's starter, he is coming off an ACL injury, so at a minimum, Sanchez figures to see his share of offseason reps in order to make a case for the assignment. Meanwhile, Matt Barkley and Tim Tebow are in line to compete for the team's No. 3 QB spot.

Sanchez reached a two-year agreement with the Eagles that contains $5.5 million in guaranteed money, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
The deal is worth up to $16 million, with much of that presumably in the form of incentives. It's still a far better contract than the average backup quarterback receives, ensuring that speculation about Nick Foles' future will only continue. The Eagles will likely either keep Foles or draft another signal-caller, but Sanchez might still get a shot to compete for the starting job in either scenario.

Sanchez completed 23 of 36 passes for 292 yards, two touchdowns and one interception in Sunday's 34-26 win over the Giants. He also rushed for 22 yards on seven carries.
After Nick Foles suffered a midseason collarbone injury, Sanchez played in nine games (eight starts) for the Eagles, finishing with 2,418 passing yards, 14 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. He had a few bright spots but was inconsistent overall, and the Eagles' three-game December slide to eliminate them from playoff contention doesn't reflect well on the quarterback. Sanchez will become an unrestricted free agent this offseason, and while a return to Philadelphia doesn't seem like the most likely outcome, it's certainly not out of the question either.

The Eagles plan to stick with Sanchez at quarterback for the team's season finale against the Giants on Sunday, ESPN.com reports.
With Nick Foles still recovering from his collarbone injury, and the team eliminated from playoff contention, the Eagles could have elected to take a look at Matt Barkley in Week 17, but they will continue to roll with Sanchez, who is slated to become a free agent after the season. Sanchez completed 37-of-50 passes for 374 yards, two touchdowns and one interception in Week 16's 27-24 loss to Washington, the Eagles' third straight defeat.

Sanchez completed 37 of 50 passes for 374 yards, two touchdowns and one interception in Saturday's 27-24 loss to Washington. He added 22 rushing yards on three carries, but was sacked three times and lost a fumble.
Sanchez went to the air early and often, but he seemed reluctant to take many shots downfield. His longest completion was 26 yards, and he spent much of the night dumping the ball off to tight end Zach Ertz (15 receptions on 18 targets). Eagles fans probably aren't happy with his performance, but any fantasy owners forced to start him in Week 16 have to be pleasantly surprised by this stat line. There is a chance Nick Foles is healthy enough to retake the job for Week 17, but we likely won't receive any clarity on his status until later next week.

Sanchez completed 17-of-28 passes for 252 yards, with no touchdowns and two interception, in Sunday's 38-27 loss to the Cowboys.
Sanchez also took four sacks, as he generally appeared uncomfortable in the pocket. His yardage total was inflated by impressive catch-and-runs from Jeremy Maclin and Josh Huff, who turned short passes into gains of 72 and 44 yards, respectively. Sanchez did not complete any passes deep down the field, and he missed open receivers on intermediate routes on numerous occasions. Any talk of him displacing Nick Foles (collarbone) can probably be put to rest, given how poorly Sanchez has played the past two weeks. Of course, Foles may not be ready for Week 16 against Washington, so Sanchez could be in line for another start.

Sanchez completed 10-of-20 passes for only 96 yards, with two touchdowns and an interception, in Sunday's 24-14 loss to Seattle.
Sanchez got off to a decent start, tossing a short touchdown pass to Jeremy Maclin in the first quarter, but struggled the rest of the way. Even his 35-yard touchdown pass to Zach Ertz was underthrown, as Ertz made a nice adjustment to the ball. It didn't help that the Eagles' defense could not stop the Seahawks, as the defending Super Bowl champions possessed the ball for nearly 42 minutes. The veteran QB has been inconsistent since taking over for an injured Nick Foles (collarbone), so it will be interesting to see how coach Chip Kelly handles that situation late in the year, assuming Foles is healthy enough to play. Next up for Sanchez will be a huge home matchup against the Cowboys.
