Fields is scheduled to undergo an MRI on Monday as the Bears look to determine the severity of the left shoulder injury he suffered in Sunday's 27-24 loss to the Falcons, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fortunately for Fields and the Bears, the injury is to his non-throwing shoulder, and it didn't stop him from playing every snap on offense in the Week 11 loss while throwing for 153 yards, rushing for 85 more and accounting for two touchdowns. Even so, the 3-8 Bears may not be inclined to take any chances with their franchise quarterback if the MRI reveals any significant damage, so until the results of the tests are available, Fields should be viewed as questionable for the Bears' Week 12 game in New York against the Jets. Trevor Siemian is the next man up at quarterback and would start if Fields can't play next weekend.

Fields completed 14 of 21 passes for 153 yards, one touchdown and one interception in Sunday's 27-24 loss to the Falcons. He added 85 yards and a touchdown on 18 rushing attempts. Per Adam Jahns of The Athletic, Fields was favoring his left (non-throwing) shoulder after the game and was taken to the locker room for further evaluation.
EDGE Analysis
Fields threw a 16-yard touchdown pass to Darnell Mooney to tie the score at seven apiece, but he missed a wide open Mooney on a deep ball later in the first quarter. While Fields is still a work in progress with his arm, there's no doubting his rushing prowess. His mobility was on full display in the second quarter, as Fields ran in a four-yard touchdown and finished the first half with more rushing yards (73) than passing yards (71). Atlanta adjusted at halftime and took away his running lanes, while Fields failed to make the Falcons pay with his arm. He has blossomed into a quality fantasy quarterback thanks to his contributions on the ground, but Fields' availability for Chicago's Week 12 game against the Jets is up in the air pending an update on his injured shoulder.

Fields completed 12 of 20 passes for 167 yards and two touchdowns with one interception and gained 147 rushing yards and two more TDs on 13 carries in Sunday's 31-30 loss to the Lions.
EDGE Analysis
For the second straight game, Fields produced four total touchdowns, although he gave one back by throwing a INT that Jeff Okudah returned 20 yards to the house in the fourth quarter, helping to fuel a late comeback by Detroit. Fields also became the first quarterback in the Super Bowl era with multiple rushing scores of at least 60 yards in the same season after galloping for a 67-yard TD on the possession immediately after tossing the pick-six. The second-year star has thrown multiple touchdowns in three straight contests and run for at least one in four straight heading into a Week 11 matchup with the Falcons.

Fields completed 17 of 28 passes for 123 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions while adding 178 rushing yards and another score on 15 carries in the Bears' 35-32 loss to the Dolphins on Sunday. He also threw a two-point conversion pass.
EDGE Analysis
Fields once again demonstrated why he's arguably the most explosive player at the quarterback position this side of Lamar Jackson or Josh Allen, almost single-handedly outpacing the high-octane Dolphins offense. Fields was reasonably effective once again as a passer while primarily working a short-area attack, and he tossed touchdowns of 18 and four yards to Cole Kmet, along with a beauty of a 16-yard scoring strike in the back left corner of the end zone to Darnell Mooney over Xavien Howard. However, Fields made even more of an impact on the ground with what was easily a team-leading and career-high yardage total, and his 61-yard touchdown scamper early in the second half served as a fitting example of his elite speed. Fields' first opportunity to build on Sunday's prolific performance comes in an appealing divisional matchup at Soldier Field against the Lions.

Fields completed 17 of 23 passes for 151 yards and two touchdowns while adding 60 yards and another touchdown on the ground In the Bears' 49-29 loss to the Cowboys on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Facing one of the best defenses in the league, Fields was frequently on the move as both a runner and passer, which allowed him to keep the Bears competitive through part of the third quarter. Although he's yet to throw for more than 208 yards this season, he's posted at least 47 rushing yards in five straight games. In addition, he's accounted for multiple touchdowns in two straight games, the first time this season he's accomplished that feat. He's quickly moving toward becoming a player who can be started in fantasy lineups in most leagues.

Fields completed 13 of 21 passes for 179 yards, one touchdown and one interception in Monday's 33-14 win over the Patriots. He added 14 carries for 82 yards and a touchdown.
EDGE Analysis
Fields led the Bears' offense to a big performance with both his arm and legs. He found Darnell Mooney for several big gains in the first half and connected with Cole Kmet for 26 yards midway through the second quarter on a drive that ultimately ended in a field goal. With both a passing and rushing score, Fields managed only his second multi-touchdown performance of the season. Most importantly from a fantasy perspective, Fields remained aggressive on both designed runs and scrambles and has now tallied at least 50 yards on the ground in three of his last four contests. After a slow start to the season, Fields has become the focal point of Chicago's offense in recent weeks.

Fields (shoulder) wasn't listed on the Bears' first Week 7 injury report Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Fields aggravated a left shoulder injury during last Thursday's 12-7 defeat to the Commanders, but with a mini-bye to heal up he's sidestepped the practice report entirely to kick off Week 7 prep. He's thus on pace to face a Patriots defense Monday that has allowed 233.7 passing yards per game and nine touchdowns versus six interceptions to opposing quarterbacks in six contests this season.

Fields said after Thursday's 12-7 loss to the Commanders that he re-aggravated an injury to his left (non-throwing) shoulder, Grant Gordon of NFL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
As the quarterback pointed out Thursday, the Bears' next game isn't until Oct. 24 against the Patriots, which will afford him some added healing time in Week 7. In any case, the signal-caller's status will be worth monitoring in the coming days, and he seems likely to be included on the Bears' injury report when the team resumes practicing next Thursday. Fields finished the Week 6 loss with 14 completions on 27 attempts for 190 yards, a touchdown and an interception while carrying 12 times for 88 yards.

Fields completed 14 of 27 passes for 190 yards with one touchdown and one interception and rushed 12 times for 88 yards in the Bears' 12-7 loss to the Commanders on Thursday night. He also committed a fumble recovered by the Bears.
EDGE Analysis
Fields put together a third straight serviceable passing performance, but he also took five sacks and couldn't get the Bears into the end zone on either of the final two possessions. In fairness, he came just a yard short of doing so with 30 seconds remaining, but Darnell Mooney bobbled Fields' pass as it hit him in mid-air while crossing the plane of the goal line and he was ruled to only have gained control of it down about a half-yard short of the end zone. Earlier in the game, Fields connected with Dante Pettis on a picturesque, over-the-shoulder 40-yard touchdown pass midway through the third quarter, but he short-circuited an earlier scoring opportunity by throwing a pick on the Commanders' five-yard line late in the first quarter as well. Fields and his teammates will now have extra time to regroup ahead of a Week 7 Monday night road matchup against the Patriots on Oct. 24.

Sun 10/9/22 4:32 PM

Fields completed 15 of 21 passes for 208 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 29-22 loss to the Vikings. He also rushed eight times for 47 yards.
EDGE Analysis
Fields not only passed for his most yards this season, but he also put together his first turnover-free outing of the campaign. That feat came despite Fields fumbling twice Sunday, as the Bears recovered both times. Although his lone touchdown came on an easy push pass to Velus Jones, Fields additionally led Chicago in rushing yards, marking his best overall performance of a maligned second season to date.
