Bostic made seven stops in last Thursday's loss to the Cowboys. Stepping in for the injured Lance Briggs (groin), Bostic has accumulated 18 total tackles over the last two games. While he hasn't generated any turnovers yet this season, Bostic did show a flash of playmaking skills as a rookie, which could make him worth a speculative pickup for those looking to take a flier at linebacker in IDP leagues.

Bostic (back) is listed as active for Sunday night's game against the Packers. Bostic will be seeing his first action since Week 5, with a wait-and-see approach in order in IDP formats until he turns in a full and productive outing.

Bostic (back) is probable for Sunday's game against Green Bay. It's not clear what sort of role Bostic will play at linebacker, as Lance Briggs appears to be the team's only sure thing at the position for now.

Bostic (back) is inactive for Sunday's game against New England. In his continued absence, look for Darryl Sharpton to see added action in the Bears' defense on Sunday.

Bostic (back) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against New England, the Chicago Tribune's Rich Campbell reports. Bostic is expected to miss a third consecutive game along with fellow linebacker Lance Briggs (ribs), who is also doubtful. Bostic's absence means more snaps for Darryl Sharpton.

Bostic (back) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Dolphins, according to Rich Campbell of the Chicago Tribune. Bostic did not play in Week 6 against the Falcons due to the ailment, and he was limited in practice this week, which wasn't enough to get him ready for Sunday's game.

Bostic (back) is questionable for Sunday's game against Miami. Bostic was a limited practice participant all week, so he seems to have a decent chance to return from the injury. The Bears have a lot of uncertainty at the linebacker position, however, and it's not clear whether Bostic would receive a steady workload even if he suits up.

Bostic (back) is inactive for Sunday's game versus the Falcons, the Chicago Tribune reports. Bostic's absence adds to the Bears' injury woes at linebacker, as both Lance Briggs (ribs) and D.J. Williams (neck) have also been ruled out. As a result, Khaseem Greene, Darryl Sharpton, and Christian Jones will comprise Chicago's starting linebacking corp Sunday.

Bostic (back) is questionable for Sunday's game against Atlanta. With Bostic highly questionable and Lance Briggs (ribs) out, the Bears might need to turn to rookie Christian Jones as the second linebacker next to D.J. Williams.

Bostic racked up a team-leading 13 stops and defensed two passes in Monday's 27-19 win over the Jets. Making a start at outside linebacker for the injured Shea McClellin (hand), Bostic was instrumental in stymieing the Jets' ground game, which mustered 4.4 yards per carry and had only two runs of 10-plus yards on the evening. The rangy Bostic also demonstrated his reliability in coverage in knocking down the two passes, though he did drop an interception that would have put the game on ice long before the Jets' fourth-down failure on their final drive. In any case, Bostic's production far outstripped McClellin's from the first two games (five tackles, one sack), which could result in his promotion to the starting lineup even if McClellin returns from injury in Week 4. At the very least, expect Bostic to at least see duties primarily on passing downs, where McClellin's deficiencies in coverage make him more of a liability.
