Bostic finished the 2020 season with 118 tackles (61 solo), three sacks, three pass defenses and one interception in 16 games.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran linebacker played 92.4 percent of Washington's defensive snaps, up from 91.1 percent the previous year. He still hasn't shown a ton of playmaking ability, but Bostic did have career highs for tackles and sacks in 2020, occupying a key role in one of the better defenses in the league. He'll turn 30 in May and has one year remaining on his contract with Washington, scheduled for a $1.64 million base salary.

Bostic had a team-high 10 tackles (four solo) and an interception in Monday's 23-17 win over the Steelers.
EDGE Analysis
Bostic racked up his highest tackle total since posting a season-high 14 against the Ravens back in Week 4, and he sealed Washington's upset of the previously undefeated Steelers with a late interception. The veteran linebacker bounced around the league earlier in his career but has settled in nicely with Washington, as he needs just 14 more tackles to reach 100 for a second consecutive season.

Bostic won't be suspended for his hit on Cowboys quarterback Andy Dalton (concussion) during Sunday's win, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Dalton had given himself up and was sliding to the ground when Bostic lowered his shoulder and administered a violent hit on the quarterback's head, forcing him to leave the game and enter concussion protocol. Bostic was ejected for his actions, but it appears the league won't hand him any further discipline. A hefty fine could still be on the docket, but Bostic should remain in his starting middle linebacker role when Washington resumes play Week 9 against the Giants.

Bostic has a team-high 37 tackles (21 solo) at the quarter point of the 2020 season.
EDGE Analysis
Playing every available snap on defense, Bostic has recorded seven or more tackles in each game, including a season-high 14 in the Week 4 loss to Baltimore. He also has two sacks and four QB hits, but that aspect of his production isn't likely to continue, as PFF has charted Bostic with 132 coverage snaps and only 16 plays rushing the passer. A 52.2 PFF grade puts him only 40th among 79 qualified linebackers, but the volume remains steady for IDP production. Bostic should have another solid performance Week 5, facing a Rams offense that has the third-most rush attempts (134) in the NFL.

Bostic had seven tackles (five solo) and a sack in Sunday's 30-15 loss to Arizona, playing 100 percent of snaps on defense.
EDGE Analysis
Bostic also had seven tackles, a sack and 100 percent snap share in the season opener, with both he and Kevin Pierre-Louis handling three-down roles. Bostic had only 105 tackles (56 solo) and one sack in a similar role last season, but he's on track for much bigger numbers this year, in part because he's been so successful as a blitzer (four QB hits). He should have another busy day Week 3 at Cleveland.

Bostic signed a two-year, $6.6 million contract with Washington on Monday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bostic will return to the team he spent the 2019 campaign with. He started all 16 games at inside linebacker last season and piled up a career-high 105 tackles, so he figures to be back in the same role when the 2020 season kicks off.

Bostic started all 16 games for Washington in 2019, accruing 105 tackles (56 solo), one sack and one interception while playing 91.1 percent of defensive snaps.
EDGE Analysis
The 28-year-old signed a one-year contract in May, shortly after the team lost Reuben Foster to an ACL tear. Mason Foster was released shortly thereafter, leaving Bostic, Cole Holcomb and Shaun Dion Hamilton to take most of the snaps at inside linebacker. Holcomb served as the run thumper and Hamilton as the coverage specialist, with Bostic landing somewhere in between and thus getting the most snaps of the bunch. With his contract expiring and a new coaching staff in town, Bostic won't necessarily stick around in Washington for 2020.

Bostic made five tackles (four solo) in Sunday's 41-35 loss to the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Bostic has been credited with at least five tackles in four-straight games and has not logged fewer than four since Week 1. Each new tackle he makes is a new career high and his next one will be his 100th of the season.

Bostic logged five solo tackles and broke up a pass in Sunday's loss to the Eagles.
EDGE Analysis
Bostic needs four tackles to break his career high of 97 set in 2017 with the Colts. His next opportunity will come against the Giants in Week 16.

Bostic was credited with five tackles (three solo) in Sunday's loss to the Packers.
EDGE Analysis
After seven-straight weeks of seven or more tackles, Bostic's numbers have been a bit down of late. He has no more than five tackles in three of his last five contests and no more than seven in any game during that stretch.
