Langford (ankle) is questionable for Monday's game against the Vikings.
EDGE Analysis
Langford was limited in practice all week and stands a decent chance at making his first appearance since Week 3. With how well Jordan Howard and Ka'Deem Carey have performed in Langford's absence, it remains unclear who'll start once they're all healthy.

Langford (ankle) practiced in a limited capacity Thursday, Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
In the midst of a 4-to-6 recovery timetable, Langford appears to be testing out his previously sprained ankle. It's unclear if a return is nigh, but two practices remain to log a full session. If he's unable to roll Monday versus the Vikings, the tandem of Jordan Howard and Ka'Deem Carey will man the Bears' backfield.

Langford (ankle) returned to practice Tuesday, Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
With his most recent appearance coming in Week 3, Langford is at the front end of his estimated four-to-six week timetable. The team's decision to release Joique Bell on Monday hinted at Langford's impending return, as Jordan Howard and Ka'Deem Carey are the only other running backs on the roster. Langford opened the season in an every-down role Week 1, but then ceded more work to Carey and Howard the following two games, before bowing out for an extended period due to the ankle injury. While it's quite possible Langford will return as nothing more than the No. 3 running back, no assumptions should be made at this stage. The Chicago backfield requires close watching in advance of Sunday's difficult matchup with the Vikings. Carey out-touched Howard by an 11-7 margin in Thursday's loss to the Packers, also holding a 57-22 edge in scrimmage yards.

Langford (ankle) is listed as inactive Thursday in Green Bay, Rich Campbell of Chicago Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Langford is approaching the front end of what was expected to be a 4-to-6 week stretch of DNPs, which could result in some practice reps next week. Alas, rookie Jordan Howard will hold down the fort in the Bears' backfield in the interim, while Ka'Deem Carey (hamstring) handles a complementary role.

Langford (ankle) is listed as doubtful for Thursday's contest in Green Bay, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Langford has entered the fourth week of what was expected to be a 4-to-6 week absence due to a serious ankle sprain. If the lower bound is the more accurate timetable, he should begin to ramp up his practice reps in earnest next week. In the meantime, though, Jordan Howard should carry the load out of the Bears' backfield, while Ka'Deem Carey (hamstring) serves in a complementary role, if active.

Langford (ankle) is listed as inactive Sunday at Indianapolis, Jeff Dickerson of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
In the midst of a 4-to-6 week absence due to an ankle sprain, Langford will again yield the backfield to Jordan Howard, who racked up 132 yards from scrimmage last week against the Lions.

Langford (ankle) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game in Indianapolis, Larry Mayer of the Bears' official website reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Bears love to list players as doubtful, but Langford doesn't actually have a shot to play, as he's expected to miss at least two-to-four more weeks. However, Ka'Deem Carey (hamstring) may actually have a chance to return, which could potentially cut into Jordan Howard's workload. Once healthy, Langford may find that his role is very limited or even non-existent.

EDGE Analysis
Langford will log the first absence of an expected 4-to-6 week rehab effort focused on his severely sprained ankle. With Ka'Deem Carey (hamstring) also on the pine, rookie Jordan Howard is expected to have the Bears' backfield to his lonesome for the foreseeable future.

Langford (ankle) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against Detroit.
EDGE Analysis
Langford is expected to miss four-to-six weeks, but the Bears for some reason prefer to list players as 'doubtful' rather than 'out'. With Ka'Deem Carey (hamstring) also listed as doubtful and not expected to play, Jordan Howard will likely serve as the lead back.

Langford (ankle) is expected to miss four-to-six weeks, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
EDGE Analysis
Langford apparently suffered a severe sprain, potentially to his upper ankle. His expected absence will leave Chicago's backfield in the hands of Jordan Howard and (possibly) Ka'Deem Carey, the former of whom sat out Week 3 with a hamstring injury. Langford was already starting to lose playing time before he suffered the injury, and it now seems Howard could be set for a heavy workload. The Chicago backfield still requires close monitoring, though everything seems to be pointing in Howard's direction.
