Inman recorded one catch for seven yards on three targets in Sunday's win over the Jaguars.
EDGE Analysis
Just like last week, the Chargers jumped out to an early lead which likely limited Inman's potential targets. And also just like last week, the Chargers may have potentially lost a skill position player, as this time Danny Woodhead left the game in the first quarter after sustaining a non-contact knee injury. With a plethora of skill position players already lost for the season, Inman may start to see more opportunities, especially if the Chargers are forced to move the ball through the air.

Inman is expected to get the start at wide receiver with Keenan Allen (knee) done for the season, ESPN's Eric Williams reports.
EDGE Analysis
Another large-bodied wide receiver, Inman filled in ably last season as injuries decimated the Chargers receiving core, recording 35 catches for 486 yards and three touchdowns. In a high octane passing attack, Inman should be able to put up similar numbers this season, but there is potential for even more production with Keenan Allen out for the year. He'll be competing for additional targets with a bevy of players, including speedster Travis Benjamin as well as emerging wide receiver Tyrell Williams.

Inman snagged one pass for six yards on three targets in the loss the Chiefs Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Unlike many of his fellow teammates, Inman was kept quiet in the passing game, even after Keenan Allen went down early in the game with what was believed to be an ACL tear. While both Tyrell Williams and Travis Benjamin stand to gain more if Allen is indeed done for the season, Inman could still become a factor in deeper fantasy leagues, as the Chargers may have to lean on their passing attack in order to stay in games.

Inman was not targeted in Sunday's preseason game against the Vikings.
EDGE Analysis
Although he didn't get a target, Inman actually played more snaps than Travis Benjamin while Philip Rivers was in the game, holding an 11-7 advantage, according to Pro Football Focus. This may just be an anomaly, as Benjamin is believed to be the No. 2 wideout, with Inman, Tyrell Williams, James Jones and Javontee Herndon battling to fill out the depth chart. Inman does remain a clear favorite for No. 3 job, after filling in capably for an injury-plagued Chargers squad last season.

Inman was ruled out of Friday's preseason game against the Cardinals after absorbing a big hit in the first quarter, Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
While Inman did not suffer a concussion on the play, the hit was jarring enough to send his helmet flying onto the field. Inman, who is competing with a handful of other wide receivers for the No. 3 role after Stevie Johnson (knee) was placed on injured reserve, might be losing ground in the battle after another positive performance by Tyrell Williams and James Jones. More information regarding the severity of the injury will likely arrive on Monday.

With Stevie Johnson (knee) set to undergo surgery, Inman and Tyrell Williams figure to get extra work on the first-team offense, The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson appears no better than questionable for Week 1, which leaves a vacancy in the No. 3 wideout role. Inman could quickly emerge as the favorite, though San Diego also plans to work out a couple of veterans -- James Jones and Brian Hartline -- who could provide depth behind starters Keenan Allen and Travis Benjamin. A 2011 UDFA, the 27-year-old Inman finally received extended playing time last season, catching 35 passes for 486 yards and three touchdowns on 65 targets for an injury-ravaged Chargers squad.

Inman signed an Exclusive Rights Free Agent deal with the Chargers on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Inman's only option was to re-sign with the Chargers, and now the move has been made official. While he was somewhat productive with the Chargers in 2015 (35 catches for 486 yards and three touchdowns), Keenan Allen's (kidney) return to health and the free agent signing of Travis Benjamin likely limits any upside heading into the 2016 campaign.

Inman caught three of six targets for 25 yards in Sunday's season-ending loss at Denver.
EDGE Analysis
Inman was fairly productive for San Diego down the stretch as they dealt with multiple injuries to nearly all of their top wide outs. He finished the season with 35 catches for 486 yards and three touchdowns and figures to have earned a shot to contribute again in 2016.

Inman hauled in eight of 13 targets for 82 yards and a touchdown in Thursday's 23-20 overtime loss to the Raiders.
EDGE Analysis
He has now gone for 75-plus yards in back-to-back weeks, but Thursday's performance was much more convincing, as he led the team in targets and catches while also getting the lone score through the air. Next week's matchup will be tough when the Chargers travel to Denver, but Inman could once again be pretty involved in the passing attack.

Inman secured three of five targets for 78 yards in Sunday's 30-14 victory over the Dolphins.
EDGE Analysis
The second-year pro posted his second-best yardage total of the season, and has generally been serviceable in Keenan Allen's stead after the latter's season-ending kidney injury. A 6'3 target with some CFL pedigree, Inman also flashed some potential in the final two games of 2014 with a pair of 79-yard efforts. The 26-year-old now has secured 24 of his 44 targets for 379 yards and two touchdowns since making his season debut in Week 3, and should continue to receive a solid amount of looks in the pass-happy San Diego offense over the season's final two weeks.
