Inman was carted off the field during Sunday's game against the Broncos, Eric Williams of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
At the conclusion of a 15-yard catch in the first quarter, Inman sustained a near helmet-to-helmet hit and was tended to on the turf for some time before the cart took him to the locker room. The extent of the injury is unknown, but he has a history with concussions, as he suffered one during the preseason slate in August.

Inman caught 5-of-9 targets for 65 yards and a touchdown Sunday in Jacksonville.
EDGE Analysis
The second-year receiver out of Virginia has been asked to play a bigger role in recent weeks due to injuries to other Chargers receivers, and Inman rewarded the coaching staff's trust in him with his second touchdown of the season in this one. With Malcolm Floyd (shoulder) still less than 100 percent, Inman trails only Stevie Johnson on quarterback Philip Rivers' priority list when it comes to wide receivers. The added attention is nice, but Inman may not have the skills to post a repeat performance against an elite Broncos defense next week.

Inman had three receptions on five targets for 51 yards in Sunday's loss versus the Chiefs.
EDGE Analysis
Inman and Javontee Herndon have been thrust into prominent roles in San Diego's passing attack with the injuries to Keenan Allen and Malcolm Floyd, and they have both played reasonably well. In this game, Inman's 51 receiving yards were second on the team to Stevie Johnson on a day when Philip Rivers and the entire offense struggle mightily. Look for Inman to put up some nice numbers next week against a beatable Jaguars secondary.

Inman hauled in three passes off of five targets for 28 yards in Sunday's loss to Chicago.
EDGE Analysis
The modest three catches tied a season high for Inman, but his value increased substantially in the weeks to come following reports that Malcolm Floyd may be out for the year with a labrum injury suffered during the contest. Floyd would join fellow starting receiver Keenan Allen on San Diego's version of a MASH unit and his injury likely thrusts Inman into the starting lineup. Moving forward, Inman is no better than the Chargers' third or fourth option behind Stevie Johnson, Antonio Gates and Danny Woodhead, but given that the Chargers throw the ball more times per game than any other team in the league, Inman could still produce enough to make picking him up a shrewd move.

Inman caught one pass off of two targets for 10 yards in Sunday's loss to Baltimore.
EDGE Analysis
Inman has been buried a bit on San Diego's depth chart, appearing in just 43 percent of the team's offensive snaps in 2015, according to Pro Football Focus, and ranking eighth on the team in catches with nine. He may warrant monitoring, however, in the aftermath of Keenan Allen's season ending injury as each Chargers' receiver is likely to slide up a spot on the depth chart. Inman is likely to see the field in most three-wide sets and only the Texans have thrown the ball more times per game than San Diego this season.

Inman had three receptions (on seven targets) for 18 yards and a touchdown on Sunday at Green Bay.
EDGE Analysis
The Bolts threw the ball a ton on Sunday, so Inman was able to make a few plays, but he remains pretty low on the depth chart, even with Stevie Johnson injured. Keenan Allen, Malcom Floyd, Antonio Gates, and Ladarius Green all figure to get more looks than Inman every week, so consistent production cannot be assumed.

Inman had three receptions on five targets for 88 yards in Sunday's win against the Browns after both Malcom Floyd and Stevie Johnson had to exit the game with injuries.
EDGE Analysis
Floyd suffered a concussion and Johnson pulled a hamstring in this game, leaving Keenan Allen and Inman the only two healthy wide receivers for the afternoon. Inman knows the offense and has performed well in spot duty before, so he should be productive if he forced to play a larger role in the coming weeks, but the injuries to Floyd and Johnson obviously need to be monitored closely.

Inman has a good chance to make the final roster, according to ESPN's Eric D. Williams. Keenan Allen, Malcom Floyd and Stevie Johnson will enter training camp as the top three wide receivers, with Inman, Jacoby Jones and a slew of roster-bubble candidates competing for spots further down the depth chart. Inman finished the 2014 season on a high note, catching 12-of-17 targets for 158 yards over the last two games, accounting for all the receiving production to this point in his career. Allen missed those two games, which explains the sudden jump in Inman's usage.

Inman had five receptions on eight targets for 79 yards without a score in the season finale on Sunday at Kansas City. Inman was pressed into service in Week 16 after an injury to Keenan Allen and caught 12 passes for 158 yards in two games. Inman had never recorded a catch in the NFL before these two games, but he demonstrated amazing hands and made several acrobatic catches. It will be interesting if he can parlay this two-game window of opportunity into a long-term role on the team in 2015.

Inman had seven catches for 79 yards in Saturday's overtime win over the 49ers. Who? The 25-year-old journeyman had not caught an NFL pass since coming out of Virginia in 2010, but he took advantage of Keenan Allen's absence Saturday night to play a key role for the Chargers. It's a great story, but any fantasy owners still looking for Week 17 options should probably find a receiver with more of a proven track record.
