Booker rushed for 54 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries and added 30 yards on five catches in Sunday's win over the Chargers. He fumbled during the contest. He left the game briefly with a shoulder injury, but returned.
EDGE Analysis
Booker was unable to fulfill the promise of last week's 83-yard performance, failing to average three yards per carry on Sunday. Booker dashed around the left side for a three-yard score to put Denver up by two scores in the third quarter, but fumbled away a scoring opportunity on the very next drive, the ball swatted out of his hands as he dived for the end zone. The Chargers' top-10 rush defense was a tough test for the rookie's first start. He's shown, in limited touches, that he can be effective in Gary Kubiak's one-cut scheme and doesn't have much competition behind him. He should get a better opportunity against Oakland's bottom-five rush defense next Sunday.

Booker's teammate, C.J. Anderson, is slated to undergo surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his knee, Mike Klis of 9News.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Anderson's recovery expected to be in the eight-to-12 week range, Booker now profiles as the Broncos' top back, with Kapri Bibbs on hand to serve in a backup capacity and the team likely to add further backfield depth in short order. Booker's fantasy value thus gets a huge and immediate bump, making him a must-add in any format where he's still available on the waiver wire.

NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports that Booker's teammate, C.J. Anderson, is expected to be out for a few weeks with a knee injury.
EDGE Analysis
Booker, who carried 17 times for 83 yards Monday night against the Texans, thus gets an immediate boost in fantasy value, while Kapri Bibbs figures to move up a notch in the team's backfield pecking order and Juwan Thompson is now a candidate to be promoted from the Broncos' practice squad.

Booker rushed 17 times for 83 yards and a touchdown, while catching one pass for four yards in Monday's win over the Texans.
EDGE Analysis
Booker really flashed Monday night, continuing what's been a steady ascent to start his rookie year. The fourth-rounder's 17 carries actually topped teammate C.J. Anderson's 16 totes, and although Anderson finished with over 100 yards, Booker's 83 still coincided with 4.9 yards per carry. Prior to Monday, Booker hadn't received double-digit carries in a game. Booker also scored his first-career touchdown with a one-yard plunge during the third quarter, capping off his best performance yet. With more receiving upside than Anderson, Booker's usage should certainly be worthwhile to track in upcoming weeks, as he's certainly earned an expanded workload lately.

Booker could receive additional work moving forward, Jeff Legwold of ESPN.com reports. "We've got to give Book some opportunities, he's doing some good stuff," head coach Gary Kubiak said Monday. "When he's had the opportunities he's done some really good things. As a young player we're trying to get him going as far as protections and those type of things and he's starting to handle himself better."
EDGE Analysis
Since a brief three-carry showing in Week 1, Booker's touches have ranged between five and 10 per game over the last five outings, averaging 4.9 YPC and gathering in eight of 11 passes for 65 yards. Meanwhile, No. 1 running back C.J. Anderson hasn't reached 4.0 YPC or 100 yards from scrimmage in any contest during that stretch. Due to the four-year, $18 million investment made in Anderson in the offseason, he likely isn't in danger of losing his job, but Booker appears deserving of an expanded role, at the very least.

Booker tallied 46 yards on five rushes and secured both of his targets for seven yards in Thursday's 21-13 loss to the Chargers.
EDGE Analysis
Although Booker received one less carry than last week, he equaled the career-best 46 rushing yards he'd managed in Week 2 versus the Colts. He also had some modest involvement in the passing game once again following a career-high four catches in Week 5, and ripped off an impressive 17-yard run in the third quarter that was his longest to date. The 24-year-old rookie has been more efficient on a per-carry basis than C.J. Anderson over the last three games and could therefore continue seeing an uptick in touches in the coming weeks.

Booker rushed for 23 yards on six carries and added 36 yards on four catches in Sunday's loss to Atlanta.
EDGE Analysis
The 10 touches tied a career high for Booker. The rookie has been limited to just under four yards per carry in a mere 29 rushes this season, a mediocre sum, but the figure looks better when compared to C.J. Anderson's 3.5 yards per carry on 84 rushes. Considering Anderson's recent slump, Booker might be in line for more looks down the line.

Booker rushed for 30 yards on seven carries in Sunday's win over the Buccaneers.
EDGE Analysis
The game was Booker's second busiest thus far this season in terms of touches and the rookie is slowly beginning to see the field more and more - his offensive snaps increasing week to week, up to 18 on Sunday. C.J. Anderson has reached 20 touches in three of the season's first four games, so he remains a major hurdle between Booker and more playing time. The veteran has struggled a bit recently, however, with three straight games with less four yards per carry. The more Booker sees the field, the greater the chance he might get to prove what he can do.

Booker rushed for eight yards on four carries and caught one pass for 17 yards in Sunday's win over the Bengals.
EDGE Analysis
A week after a 10-touch performance against Indianapolis, Booker was back to limited duty against the Bengals. Part of the step back can be attributed to the Bengals' stingy rush defense and the Broncos' efforts in airing it out. Still, two of Booker's first three games have ended with five or fewer touches and less than three yards per carry. Even if the team sees him as a future challenger to C.J. Anderson's roll as top back, it's clear that that time is not right around the corner.

Booker rushed for 46 yards on nine carries and added a five-yard reception in Sunday's win over Indianapolis.
EDGE Analysis
It was a step up for Booker, who fumbled on his first career carry in Week 1 and touched the ball just twice more for the rest of the game. Head coach Gary Kubiak hinted that the heat during Sunday's game contributed to Booker's bump in play, so expect single-digit touches more often than not in the short term. However, if he continues to perform the way he did on Sunday, the rookie might earn his way to a more even split of duties as the season wears on.
